Hi all,

Just wondering if someone has an update about when the H. sales will be held this year?
And is it going to be held at the Palais du Congrès again like previous seasons?
It wasn't my intention to go to the sales but I just heard I have to go to Paris for a few days in June or Juli so I was wondering if anyone has more information about the dates for the Paris H. sales :graucho:.

What do they usually have at the H sales? I presume RTW....but any bags, wallets, silks?

You can find all of this on the sales. But for the wallets and bags you have to be really early as they will be gone first. No Birkins or Kelly bags but if you are lucky, you can find bags in other styles. But again, you have to be really early and quick for these bags.
The first day of the sale always has the best selection.
You can also do a search on Paris H. sales on this forum, there are several threads about previous sales and reveals from these sales ;).

I won't make it early in the morning so I just have to see what's left when I arrive.

The H sales will be held the 4th of July at Palais des Congres :flowers: !!

Sorry to bother you again but I was wondering if you know which train station is closest to Palais des Congres? I have to take metro from there to Palais des Congres.
And I believe Paris also has a special day card that you can use to travel all day with metro, no? It's the first time I will use metro and train in Paris so I am a bit nervous.
Well, in the worst case scenario, I can always take a taxi :p.

The closest metro station is "Porte Maillot" on Line 1 :flowers: !

The Paris Metro is super easy to use. Here's their main site

http://www.ratp.fr/en/ratp/c_21879/tourists/

but this is a good site for info/passes http://www.parismetro.com/

But really just go to any station and you can get assistance.

Thank you so much, very helpful !

Thank you :D! As for the train station, which train station is closest to Palais des Congres? I see Paris has several train stations so I was wondering what would be the best train station in Paris to arrive when visiting the Palais des Congres?

**Chanel**, depending on how many metro rides you think you will take within one day, it may be cheaper to get just single tickets. Remember interchange between metro lines still count as one journey. Last time I arrived at Gare du Nord, there is one change to Porte Maillot. So it only cost 2 single tickets (€1.70 each) to get back to Gare du Nord. Then you might want to get a taxi if you are carrying too many orange bags!

The sale normally starts on a Wed and runs until Sat. I don't think I will be able to make it in July. Please be careful and have fun!

For anyone trying to go very, very early, please know that the Metro is closed in the extreme early morning hours.

I remember reading in past threads that someone suggested NOT getting the first metro in the morning but to get the last one the night before! Sounds really crazy but I never went that early. The earliest I got there was 12 noon.
