Loveaddict: I am from a far, far away land too. I think after all my research they say it will be the third Wednesday in January. However it all comes down to the French sales dates. As I am sure you know they are very regulated by the French law.

**chanel** and FashionistaO will come. They are too scared that they will miss something important. And they love the hunt. We need to start thinking of wish lists.

I have a few rules when it comes to H sale shopping after I did som research on the old thread. No H-items on me. No large purse. Warm special nordic underwear. This is the first time the weather will be my friend while everyone else is freezing. Take the cc in a leather slot and put it inside your bra. Nobody will steal it from there. My friend sometimes makes a special one and puts it on the inside of her panties.

And stick to your budget! Go in groups and share lists. Don't take the first tube, but the last one from the day before as the was already a line at 5am. Even if the staff is rude, don't be thrown back because of it. And be prepared to fight to get the things you want.

hauhauhauahuahauhauahuahuahaua this is the most complete guide to go to H sale haha and wow i didnt know that its gonna be France officiel saleee, is this means all the other brands are on sale as well? i thought only hermes???? i think i can die...

oh one more question, in the H sale, can we bring out handbag inside
the sale (H bags and non H bags)??? or do we have to put it outside??

ohh yes i agreee neutral color clothes are so necessary! haha hope to cu there nurse! hv u book ur far far away tickets??? where is **chanel** btw???

Hi hun *waves* ! I'm here, just quite busy at the moment with a lot of things.
You should definitely go to the sales, it's great and I'm sure you can find some great goodies there. Be prepared for a battlefield though :boxing:.
The sale dates...mmm, I think it's a bit too early for that to know.
I think we'll not find out until Nov/Dec.
I'd love to go again and it would be so much fun to meet you so I hope I can go too. It all depends on work and how my money tree will look after the holidays .

Hehehe, my sweet enabler. Yes I love to hunt, you got that right hehe. But no matter what, you should go anyway, it's definitely worth a trip to Paris.

Mmm, mission impossible for me . My intention was not to buy more than 3 cashmeres and a few silks on the sale. Well, we all know what happened in Paris last summer . So my advice is...if you go to Paris sale for the first time, you have to be very strong with a lot of dicipline to stick to your budget. But I guess everyone's dicipline here is stronger than mine hehe.

Because it will slow you down as you have to report the H. items you're wearing to security. They will ask if you're wearing any H. items before you can enter the sale .

that sounds fun! I have some items on my wishlist but I don't know if they're available at the sales. how is the situation there on Saturday usually? in January I can't take any day of vacation from work.

I have no idea about the situation on a Saturday, perhaps the others can chime in here. But if you're not searching for something specific I think it's possible you can find some nice goodies there, even on a Saturday .

Is the sale in Paris good? Because I heard the last sale in New York wasn't all that great. Also do Lindy's go on sale?

For me, yes I think Paris sale is good . But I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm a scarf and shawl person so for me, Paris H. sales is a paradise, lol.
Last time there were no Lindy's on sale, also, not sure IF they go on sale.
Sometimes they do have GP bags on sale but they go really really fast and you have to be one of the first people in the queue to get one of them.
Especially the bag/slg counter is a true battlefield so be prepared .

To avoid confusion over whether you had this when you came in or picked up at the sale. So no H items at all: handbags, wallets, shoes, RTW, nothing!

so it says des soldes d'hiver 2011 en france starts on 12 Jan 2011. it should be official coz according to the french regulation, the winter sale starts on the second wednesday of the year unless it's after the 12th, the it'll be the first wednesday.

so i wanna know if hermes goes on sale with all other brands? or it has its own sale period?

No, the H sale doesn't always start at the first day of the French sales. So wait a little more.

They do restock everyday but if I were you I would get there the first day as that is the day you might find what you are looking for. They don't restock as much but maybe tke out scarfs that were in the back. You should read the last thread on the sales to be sure.

I am so sad but I can't go in January. My school makes it impossible but there will be many, many more Hermès sales in the future!
