I may have mentioned this after the last sale (I am old and repeat myself) but the joke in my family is that if I am crushed at the sale, my kids can raise a glass in my memory and smile and say "at least Mom died doing what she loved..."

Oops, haven't checked this thread for a while. Yes, I have bought my ticket too! Good luck to everyone who's going! You (and me) will need it! I won't be there first thing in the morning so hopefully will be safe from all the battling etc.

The sale will consist on past season scarves, plisse, shawls, shoes, RTW, ties, SLGs, canvas bags (this year's sale). Don't expect to see any any leather bags. They do limit the number of scarves and SLGs per passport. Do check with the local SAs at the stores. Who knows they may give you an invite and you can skip the queue. ;)

Is the first day confirmed for the 18th? Unfortunately I will only be arriving in Paris on the 19th :crybaby: Would it be any point for me to pop by to check out the remaining items after the battlefield that was the first day? :p

Are you sure just canvas bags Gaga_Ser? This summer I was searching for another Maharani clutch and was told that they were being discontinued. They shipped all the leftover stock of maharanis back!!!:faint:Was one of the worst phone calls I every recieved!!:crybaby:I was thinking about coming to Paris if there was a chance of scoring another Maharani...I love that clutch!! Would love to know anymore information!! Thank you!!:flowers:

Those that I stated are that I saw on the Jan 2011 sale. Even the FSH SAs do not know what's available at the sale. When it comes to Hermes, it's all about luck! ;)

I'm considering going , I'm keen on shawls now and wouldn't mind a couple .
For scarves and shawls can any of you seasoned sale goers give me a rough idea of % price reduction please ?
