So how did she become best friends with Marlon Brando's granddaughter? Maybe celebrity kids approach each other and think "my dad was friends with your granddad, that means we should naturally get along."
Well Marlon Brando's granddaughter is also the daughter of Miko Brando who was one of Michael's good friends. So since Michael was friends with both Marlon and Miko it makes since that both Prudence Brando and Paris would at least get along and likely be friends.
Ah, Brando had so many kids I didn't know which one had Prudence. Miko Brando was Michael's bodyguard. As I recall he's one of names thrown around as possibly being Blanket's father.

Ivan Bart, president of IMG models, announced Thursday that the eldest of Michael Jackson's two children with Debbie Rowe had officially signed with the agency. (Michael Jackson's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, was conceived via surrogate.)
"Our singular sensation!" Bart wrote on Twitter. "Welcome Ms. Jackson!"
The 18-year-old joins IMG's stellar roster, which also includes Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin and Hannah Jeter.
Jackson has inched her way into the spotlight over the past year, most recently attending the Grammys where she memorably championed the #NoDAPL (Dakota Access Pipeline) movement while onstage to introduce The Weeknd. Her fashion choices at the show also proved she's got a style of her own. When she took the stage, Jackson swapped her red carpet look — a glitzy Balmain jumpsuit with high slits — for a tie-dye number that she designed in collaboration with Jeremy Scott.
The freshly minted model appeared on her first magazine cover last month, landing the top spot for Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book. (Fellow IMG-repped model, Halima Aden — the first hijab-wearing model — landed the second cover for the issue.) She was photographed by Mario Sorrenti for the spread, wearing looks from Anthony Vaccarello's debut YSL collection and Gucci.
In addition to her fledgling modeling career, Jackson has her eye on an acting career as well, with an upcoming role on the new Fox series Star. As for whether she sees music in her future, a la her pop and extended family, she told E!'s Ryan Seacrest at the Grammys, "I'm not sure yet. I haven’t decided what I’m gonna do.
