I managed to get a small pic of it...i guess i dont want to believe that she carries a fake...she was the one who introduced me to designer bags

Actually, the Soufflot, the epi variant of the Papillon, has never had a side pocket; the zipper would make it impossible. The confusion could come from the Epi Keepall 45 & 55, because they do have a side pockets. And of course the Bedford has one. Hope that clears it up!

I think the epi papillons had a side pocket.. is hers epi leather?

There is no such thing as epi papillon. The epi version would be soufllot but not as round and no side pockets. The vernis bedford has a side pocket.

i will ask her if she had to get it "special ordered" to have the pocket...this way, i will be civil about it but still let her know, that its a fake .

Its not even a "good fake" if there is a such thing. LOL. That one looks like the cheap Canal Street fakes. They usually have the pockets.
