pandora charms - trendy or classic?

A fun charm bracelet might work well in a jewelry collection that has a good amount of classic pieces. If you have a classic watch, classic diamond studs, classic pearl necklace, etc etc then adding a personal charm bracelet might be a nice personal touch for an anniversary.

so i don't want to offend anyone since i know there are a lot of lovers of pandora on tpf, but i can't decide if i want one of these bracelets! i really only buy timeless pieces of jewelry now, and while i love the idea of this charm bracelet for my 5 year wedding anniversary (the silverware anniversary - i told DH it could be silver that i wear!), i don't know if it is a timeless piece...what do u think??

IMO trendy.. for the longest time, EVERYONE in my area had a Pandora bracelet... now the big thing is Alex & Ani.. which seems to be the BIG thing around here... that too shall pass.

If you
A) love the look and can picture yourself not getting bored with it even if everyone else is or
B) can easily afford to splurge on a trend
then go for it

I actually got one as a bridesmaid gift from the bride, I love it! I like that now I know what to ask for over the holidays and birthdays from my husband, friends, family and what's so special is that each charm can tell a story, I really love it!

I think it depends upon the person. I want one (on my Christmas list) but for me it will be a bracelet that will be a reflection of my life. I want charms that will tell a story and if anyone ask, I will be able to tell that story so for me Classic.
