^^Very nice :smile1:! I want to get a safety chain for my bracelet, but mine isn't even 30% full yet! I just don't want the chain to be moving around, and I think they move around less when the bracelet is fuller :confused1:...

Chocolate, we're Midwesterners - we thrive on adverse conditions! It just makes spring all the sweeter.

I got my Eagle Bay gold spacers yesterday! Still waiting for the pearl leather necklace, retired sunflower and bronze lights. Can't wait! Will post a pic ASAP. Come on girls, show us your stuff!

Can you tell me more about Eagle Bay? I would like to buy some spacers of my bracelet. Thanks

Charmqueen that is beautiful!

MDMC go to EagleBayDesigns.com and look for the large gold spacers;)

I received 5 beads today!! Im holding off rearranging until I get the last ones hopefully tomorrow. I did get the one I had really been looking forward to, a beautiful gold ribbon w/topaz:heart:

ChocolateAlful -You are never to old to have a bracelet. I have teenagers and and I just started my first one. I just realized that a friend of mine also with teenagers has one too. I just didn't know what it was at the time I complimented her on it.

I started something new with my dh this week. I said if I can get the weight off I gained over the holidays I can get a new bead. Then each month I keep it off I get to have a new bead. He went for it.

Hi,

I started a bracelet for my daughter and myself as a mother/daughter tradition. We add a bead each year to celebrate the day our family was formed through adoption. Secretly though, I was making her a bracelet because I wish I had one from my childhood. Subsequently, my husband bought me a seperate bracelet from the mother/daughter one just for me to fill (and I've had a blast).

I have other friends in the adoption process and I've given them mother/daughter starter bracelets and charms. They have been such hits that I know that the future grandmothers have purchased themselves bracelets because they love them so much. I'd start one for my mother and mother-in-law if they were jewelry people, but they aren't.

I think charm bracelets in general, are timeless. I think the European style bead bracelets are "new" to most people, but are also more wearable. While I love the dangle aspect of a traditional charm bracelet, lots of folks don't esp. since the charms catch. I know lots of people love bead bracelets for the ease of arranging them and ease of wearing them. Go for it!

Well I just registered after finding this thread on google and thinking oh wow there are others that love and obsess about beads :) I have only had a pandora since xmas and am now one off finishing a bracelet (much to my hubbies dismay) lol. I am now thinking I might like a gold one for our 5th wedding anniversary  but when I think of the price and what I might get in an 18k gold braclet I am a bit undecided. Does anyone know how much the 21cm (sorry I am in ozzie) gold bracelet weighs?

Thanks
