I have used a plain silver snake chain for now - but Santa better get me a Pandora necklace or else!!!!! I ordered another handmade bead yesterday off ebay - from 5fish - it's super cute : ) Can't wait to get that one... I am collecting them in hopes of getting a necklace with a few silver beads to wear symetrically on the chain and swaping out the center glass bead to give me some variety - we'll see if I have been a good girl this year!!!!!

Also, I have a similar story to yours mmkk. My boyfriend knows that I've been looking for the best beads that would have special meaning for me and he went and sent me one in the mail!! (I live in Florida and he's in Washington state finishing up his phd. We're currently 3k miles apart, but we're doing good so far since he sure knows how to make me happy with Pandora in the mail!)
Anyways, he got me a compass charm to remind me that no matter where he's at and how far apart we are, his internal compass will always point him to me. 
Ain't that sweet!!!

For those of you who live in the Tampa Bay area there are 2 Pandora Parties! One is this weekend, Oct. 17/18 and it's the Bond Diamond Store in Tyrone Mall. They say that if you spend $150 on pandora items, they'll give you a free lobster clasp bracelet for free or let you upgrade to a bead clasp for $15. I was also told that they give you a $35 voucher which you could use for anything Pandora and not use it for a bracelet.
The second one is the following weekend on Oct. 24/25 at the International Mall. There if you spend $100 you get a free lobster clasp bracelet or upgrade for a bead clasp bracelet. It is not a voucher and can not be used for anything else but a bracelet. Hope that helps anyone! Also, if you choose to order from them instead of come to the store, shipping is free. You can look them up online and give them a call.

I am so beyond excited! I have a pandora bracelet and two beads now! I was out with my mom going to Saks to take further advantage of Friends & Family. A few stores before Saks was a jewelry store that had Pandora beads on display in the window! I went in to look at them and they are all so pretty in person! I ended up coming home with a ss bead clasp bracelet and two beautiful beads. One is silver with flowers and pink czs and one is silver/14kt with smokey quartz. They didn't have that new pink enamel flower one I had been eyeing so am considering order that online. I already know which clips and safety chain I want once I get the bracelet filled up.

^ Thanks! You're right! I've been wanting one for a long time now. I'm so excited to have found a place near me that sells them and to have finally started my bracelet! 
My bracelet will have lost of pink and two tone beads I think. 
I went ahead and ordered that pink enamel flower bead along with a SS/14kt and champagne diamond bead online from Pandora-Beads (attaching stock pics from the official Pandora site). I also just found that the jewelry store I bought my bracelet and beads from today, Christian Bernard, is having a Pandora Trunk show next Friday and Saturday where you can get a free bracelet if you spend $150 and see the new fall beads. May have to check that out...(wish the SA helping us mentioned it, but I assume he was afraid he'd miss out on the sale today

I wonder if the Christian Bernard in Chicago will also have a trunk show next weekend..... did you find out about your store online or did they tell you after you spent all the money : )

By the way - congrats on the new bracelet!!!! I like the beads you have gotten so far!!! It's funny you couldn't get the new enamel flower bead either - I have been to 2 stores so far and have not been able to get one - always sold out!!! I have to get it online myself.

I don't think the store I was in even got any of the new fall beads yet. When I asked him for that one, he said they only had the older beads and none of the new ones. That's why I'm thinking they'll probably have them at the trunk show.

I really love these pandora bracelets! When I first got mine I thought I could get a charm to celebrate special occasions but i've got too excited and i've nearly filled it! 
I'm totally addicted i'm definately going to get a second one when i've finished.
