Buy it. Wrap it. Put it in the closet. Then you will be surprised in July because you will have forgotten all about itI almost bit the bullet for the gold "feeling groovy" bead, but I am trying really hard (maybe too hard) to stay strong and not buy any beads until my birthday in July. With those prices, though, I am not sure why I am not clicking the buy now button!
it is hard to resist. I got the gold strawberry for around $175 and felt good about that. Kendalldew sold it for $120 today.I almost bit the bullet for the gold "feeling groovy" bead, but I am trying really hard (maybe too hard) to stay strong and not buy any beads until my birthday in July. Welcome to the forum. You'll find yourself in good Pandora company here. I know what you mean about random buying. Especially when I see a good buy, I succumb and now my bracelets reflect that. I have one that is all retireds ( I need a second bracelet for some of them, it's too full). My second bracelet is very random with no theme. I need to maybe break the beads into sets to wear together.Hi girls!
I'm new here and am a total Pandora addict! I've spent hours reading this thread and gawping at your gorgeous bracelets so thought I'd better pop on to say hi!
This is my Pandora history - My SIL had a bracelet for Christmas and every time I saw her I drooled over her bracelet and coveted it soo much, going on and on and on about it, so much that my DH bought me one for my birthday at the end of March 2009.
One down side though, the clasp was difficult to use from the start and within 3 weeks I had to take it back to the shop where I bought it. I was told it would be returned to me in 7 - 14 days (probably a brand new one rather than the old one beng repaired) but I'm still waiting and am desperate to have it back!
In the meantime, I've bought a leather necklace so that I can at least wear some of my growing collection of charms. I have quite a few charms already but I've been buying charms a bit too randomly, rather than with a finished bracelet in mind! I think that my problem is whenever I go to the local shops to buy a charm, they don't have any of the ones I really want but I can't stop myself and buy new ones anyway but they don't seem to 'gel' together.
I've also decided to start a bracelet for my little daughter, who's 2, to mark special occasions/holidays. I have 8 charms for her already (pram, bunny, bear head (which is possibly a retired charm?), bear, bootee with pink gem, snowman, fish, egg with pink gems) but no bracelet - yet! I've just ordered her a pink murano glass bead - to represent the recent birth of her cousin and still need to buy one to commemorate her christening (maybe the church, Bible with gold cross ... - any opinions?)
De88ie - have a look at www.mememeaccessories.com - they use names as well as codes.
Sorry the post is long!! Hope to post again soon and add a picture when I get my bracelet back!
Good luck, I on the other hand have been banned for life by my poor pulling his hair out husbandI already bought 2 beads. One from the first posting and one from the second. I am waiting to see what else she posts so I can combine shipping. I would so love some gold spacers.
