Hi Girls, just a fun question/ delemour.

I have ca spare 3 pointer diamond that just came out of an eternity band that I had resized smaller.

What bead would you choose to have the diamond set into if it was you. I have a wonderful jeweller who has agreed to set it into a Pandora bead for me.

It probably wont show up as much as Im imagining though. It would just be more for fun.

Hello everyone! Well, as for the guy wearing pandora - I don't know about you but I find it all a little bit...wrong! If my boyf was to start wanting one I'd be a little concerned (and put out because he'd be spending money on his and not mine!!)
Anyhooo, my little package of a cupcake came in the post yesterday, less than 48 hours delivery - my first internet purchase - and what a cute bead!! I neeeeeed the new two tone purse and am getting impatient for my store to get the new stuff in!
Due to all of you enablers out there I had a peek at Chamilia on the web, had never heard of before, and have to admit they are very nice and in fitting with my Pandora, I may have to purchase a couple to see how they fit in, does anyone have pics of their mixed bracelets? gotta go - in work and don't want to get caught doing my guilty pleasure!! x

Littlesharon - back at post #1508 a member showed two charms that she had a diamond set into. One was the dog charm (she did it in one of the eyes, very cute) and the other looks like a two-tone clip with a flower and the stone was set in the center of the flower. Other than that, it's hard to tell without seeing the charms in real life but maybe somewhere on the treasure chest charm or the ss sunburst clip and you could set it in the center of the sunburst? Or maybe set into the top of the crown on the queen bee, but I don't know how big the crown is, because I don't have that one yet.

Pandora Junkie - what a beauty! I haven't incorporated any colour yet but I've been thinking about black and white as its more versatile, oh heck - this forum is turning out to be a very expensive habit in itself - too many lovely pictures and ideas!! :yes:

Most of my beads are Pandora but I have mixed in a few Chamilia in a few of my bracelets. Most of my glass is Chamilia, I also have the silver snowflake, the silver dog with the gold bone dangle, and the silver moose. I also have a couple of beads with pink cz's from Chamilia. I think they all fit together nicely. Here are a couple of my bracelets with mixed beads:

Ah Ponygirl, they are great. My style seems to be a bit more haphazard, I just buy what I like and then mish mash it all together! Mine doesn't seem as "done" as yours - although I think I love it for that as its full of sentimental beads. I think I shall have to go onto another bracelet soon and make it more themed!! I just love looking at everyones photos for inspiration!

Thanks. Actually my pink bracelet is the only one here that doesn't have sentimental value. I just thought it was pretty.

The bracelet with the orange and black glass beads are all about my dogs and has the greatest sentimental value. There is a moose bead to represent the elk that chased them in our back yard, a dog bead, a hedgehog to represent all the times they got into a porcupine, a lion bead for my Rhodesian Ridgebacks (which is also what the orange ribbon bead means), a Ghost bead to represent my blue Weimaraner (Grey Ghost) and that's also what the black bead with blue bumps is for. There are lots of critter beads on there that represent all the critters they like to chase (birds), hunt (frogs), eat (bees) and get bitten by (turtle), a couple of beads for their favorite toys (pig, octopus) and some others I'm sure I forgot to mention but all mean something.

Then the blue bracelet is all about winter and my favorite things about the season, presents, christmas trees, snow flakes, the star bead for the north star, the drum since "The Little Drummer Boy" is my all time favorite Christmas song, there is a bootie bead for my new grandson, etc., etc.

But you're right, even though they definitely have meaning (especially the dog bracelet and one I showed in a previous post that is all about me and my husband and our life in Maine), they are also done in a way that looks planned.

Hello,
anyone know of deals on pandora bracelets. I heard around the holidays, they were selling 2 for 1. Thought it would be a nice gift from me to myself and friends. Do they have these deals often or are these area store specific. Live in CT.

KD2008 -- I got an e-mail from my local Hannoush Jewelers, and today, Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 they are having the Pandora event where if you spend $25 on Pandora you get the free lobster clasp bracelet and if you want to you can upgrade to the bead clasp bracelet for $15. These are the participating stores that were listed in the e-mail. They listed one at Kohl Plaza in Enfield, CT. I don't know if this is the only Hannoush in CT. If there's one closer to you, maybe call and see if they are doing this too. Oh, and if you do, it's only one per customer, so if you want more you have to bring other people to buy them. Hope this helps!

I called the ones nearby (Meriden & west Hartford) but they all deal in Chamelia not Pandora. Only enfield one does Pandora. Let's see if I can get there before 8 tonight or tomorrow morning, if not, I'm going to add my name to their list so I can plan ahead next time they have a promotion.

Your welcome! Here's another thought -- a different jewelry store in my area is having the same Pandora event next weekend, so it's possible that other Pandora dealers in your area might be doing it a different weekend. So you can check the Pandora store locator and you might find a different jeweler closer to you doing the same event.
