Pandoraholic, thanks for the compliments. We didn't plan ours to be similar it just ended up that way! Her's is pink and purple and I was going for pink/purple/white. Also, I love what you've done with your bracelet! When are you starting a new one?

Purse, I agree with Pandoraholic about your engagement ring conversion. It would be a very nice charm and would make your bracelet even more special, but I'd be worried about it getting loose and getting lost. Could you potential set it into a bezel? Maybe that would be secure enough.

Ladies, great job on the bracelets!! Everyone's look amazing!!!

Luckyeshe - That was exactly what I had in mind. Having the diamond set almost like the cz on the "one world health" bead only visible from both sides. Still not sure.

The gold bracelet pic I pulled from some older pics of it as it does have more brown Muranos on it now. Only one space left for my "special bead"!!

Won't I look fab in my $4.00 Target Tee - $2.00 Old Navy flip flops and my GAZILLION dollar bracelet!! :sweatdrop: HAHAHA!! Hey, ya gotta cut back somewhere, right?

This sounds like me. I had on yesterday my $4.00 white Jag jeans from the op shop (brand new and fab!!), a bargin white top for $5.00 and my silver sandles from Kmart that cost $8.00. I went shopping with a girlfriend and she told me I looked "so posh" in all white and my jewellery (I couldn't start to add that up :wtf:) Go the bargins it that means you have have more bling!!!

I can remember the time I had to run to Home depot in sweats covered with paint and my LeFab - OOOPS:wacko:

There just wasn't enough time to change purses!!!! I needed another gallon to finish!

Wonder how many people thought the bag was real!?!?!?

Purse, some people make cheap things just look expensive!!! I really envy people like that!!!! But it is true, I have a friend like you. Ive stopped complimenting her (almost) because she always looks amazing in something that she says is over 10 years old etc or really cheap from a teenagers clothing shop.

Anyway, Im thinking you could go either way for the diamond.

Against- In some ways I like to keep Pandora just Pandora....but maybe thats being anal. Plus, its a really valuable thing to have in a bracelet both $ wise and meaning wise. I would be tempted to wear it on its own in a neclase.

For- Setting it in the bracelet you could see it all the time. The bracelet would just be beyond decadent amazing. I think a diamond bead like that is sexy and spectacular.

I wish you peace with your decision and hope you get some comfort out of the new way of setting your er.

I managed to downsize mine from a 7 mega pixal photo to a 0.3 on my camera then downloaded it to the forum.

Otherwise there's the option I think posted a few pages back by my_delirium

Good Luck- It took me over an hour to figure out.

I need some advice, ladies! My friend entered a professional salsa dancing competition. She had never done that before and she placed 3rd! I'm very proud of her and wanted to get her something for her bracelet to commemorate her accomplishment. What should I get her? I was thinking of the dangling stilleto for her dancing shoes....any suggestions?

Wish I had a friend like you Luckyeshe. What a lovely idea. You could go for something around the three number i.e. one of the three sided charms. I got heart of gold and that has 3 sides and I know some of the others are that shape. You could go for the yellow colour of a third ripon and link it to a glass bead or CZ in a bead lilke a spacer. Just some ideas off of the top of my head, which this time of night doesn't usually spout sense so will understand if not suitable. :idea:

Love the shoe idea. Perfect for a dancer I would think. It will always remind her of the special time and the first time she tried. Very easy to explain a shoe on a bracelet. "My friend gave me this for a getting a place in a dancing comp" great conversation starter too
