i think this may be the newer version? both are very cute!!

Yes he's REALLY cute I'm going to get him for my daughter. He's in the current catalogue but not sure if he's new and replaced the Bear head I got today or if they used too have 2 bears.

I have got minimal oxidisation on my current bracelet so was rapt with the Bear Head as it matched into my current bracelet nicely.

I actually have three Floral Saturns on my bracelet. One in the center of each section. I had a plan for my bracelet, but some of it looks that way and some of it not. It's my own internal sense of what fits, if that makes sense:idea: The Saturns kind of pull the bracelet together for me. I think this is what makes Pandora so much fun. It's such an individual expression of each of us:smile1:

I wanted to say that I love your bracelet so much. Its really well balanced but not too matchy. Well done!!! It looks good to go for casual or dress up.

I will definately use your bracelet as inspiration for my own which up to now Ive had no idea where to start. I like the gold clasp, chain, stoppers and accents.....on a predominately silver bracelet. You have also done well keeping things in 3 sections, matching loosely, but maintaining balance.

Sorry RisingSun I'm nowhere near finished, my daughter keeps saying - leave room for me to buy you one 'mothers day' etc. I do love the look of the planned bracelets but also enjoy receiving those special charms that have meaning from people I love..Oh the dilema..

I know what you mean. You almost have to have 2!!! One for grown up days....and one that is just from the heart with cupcakes, bears, angels, handbags and hedgehogs!!!!!

Nope! :nogood: Still waiting on the elusive gold diamond heart :shrugs: I try it on every day and stare at it!! HAHA! I really have to insure it before I even consider wearing it. You girls are the only ones I can show it off to right now. If my family knew what it cost, they would have me locked UP!!! :sweatdrop: Here it is ALMOST completed. So, what did you find to add to your bracelet?

I can fit a few more...Im still waiting for my replacement gold/topaz/Aquamarine & I want a gold clip:yes:. That will be it on this one...like I said earlier I like a bit of movement, and I like pushing them around a bit .

Its insane that Ive gotten more attached to this bracelet than any of my other bracelet. It has turned into a staple....I wear it everyday:)

I love the touch of blue and the little queen bee!!!! And the gold accents really take it up a notch.....and thats from someone who is a sworn white gold/ silver gal. Somehow with Pandora the gold is just mesmerising!!!!!

Hi Pandoraholic,

I started a bracelet for my daughter at age 4 (she's now 5). We are a family formed through adoption. So each year on our "familversary", I add a bead to her bracelet. For the first 4 years, I selected the beads. This year, we went to the store together and I let her pick out the bead. She loves it. I do insist that the bracelet resides in my jewelry box, not hers and it's only worn on special days.

What a beautiful tradition you have started with your daughter. It sounds like so much fun and also very meaningful. I think your duaghter will grow up with Pandora in her best memories!!!

And I must say that you guys are seriously enabling me to do the same with my 6 year old daughter. I would never have thought of it .....but it really does sound like a fun bonding memorable thing to do. My daughter had phnemonia when she was 3 and (3 years later)we are still dealing with lots of issues like tiredness and exhaustion...but getting better all the time.

This bracelet would be a great idea representing closure and positive outlook for the future. Plus, I could go all out on the more quirky cute charms & indulge my inner child!!!

WooooHoooooo beautiful My_Delirium:) She looks awesome! Love it!! and I love the placement of the murano beads.

THat teddy bear is adorable:love:

Littlesharon my bracelet has changed dramatically LOL. I added more blue, and took some out that I felt werent quite working. I took tips & ideas from the ladies who have beautiful bracelets here.I do have many meaninful beads, but I will admit that I started leaning towards a more "planned" looked. Im also thinking of starting just a silver one of JUST gift beads ...with blue(Im a jean girl, and just love blue!) as well since now I have a few xtras. Ill post pics this evening since Im still waiting on the lastbead to arrive by mail....been waiting a few days now:(

Purse.....where are you????!!!! Lets see what new ones youve been working on!!!

Was just reading past posts. Just wondering if ANYONE has seen any offers similiar to these mentioned in January by sunny days here in Australia- preferably in Melbourne .

I would LOVE to take advantage of FREE offers like the Jewellery Roll, key chain etc.

Discounts would be GREAT too- only one i've had was Gillettes Free Silver bead with $100 spent online.

????? Anyone know where to get these great offers in OZ please share????

I would think that most shops would offer you a discount if you asked!!!!

But, since you ask, there is a shop in 124 Exhibition Street called Johnston Jewellers (its my dhs shop). They have just got in the Pandora range in the last 2 weeks!!!!

They have 2 offers that I know of. One is a loyalty program that if you buy 5 beads you get the 6th bead free (to the ave. value of the 5).

or if you are after the really big Pandora jewellery box, it is free if you spend over $150. (but there may be a tiny wait for these to come in stock).

www.johnstonjewellers.com

There isnt Pandora stuff on the site, but he can send out orders with free postage for jewellery (not the jewellery box).

Im sort of scared to start one because Im my own worst critic. I know I would want planned, but its not as much fun...and it could look abit boring if its too perfect and matching.

I have a bad track record with jewellery making where I took the no planning approach.

But Im going to learn from you gals.

Im even impressed with the tip about using spacers to keep the bracelet more flexible and to seperate the larger beads from touching each other.

Im going to go very slow because I hate making mistakes and I know that Im always impulsive and I always change my mind!!!!! (Buyers remorse)

But I am inspired and will hopefully end up with a bracelet that has a few hidden meaningful beads in an otherwise planned looking layout!!!!

ladies i have FINISHEDmy first ever pandora bracelet!!! :yahoo::yahoo:

IMG_5436.jpg

it was given as a gift on my birthday last april (2008). all the charms except for the 3 murano, mother of pearl and safety chain have special meaning to me.

i promised myself i was to finish it by april this year (to represent the past year, my brithday was a 'milestone' age). but that kinda fell to the wayside :shame:. oh at least i tried! hehehe.

Great example of quirky and meaningful within a planned looking layout!!! Very clever....it looks effortlessly thrown together, but I think it would have taken alot of skill to get it all to be so balanced.

Love the little giraffe....his expression is priceless....and he does fit the spot so well.

thank you lolas and littlesharon! you are both too kind for words.

cindylouhoo they do recommend to use the clips. as the bracelet does get a little rigid in some parts the more fuller it gets. mine has been getting a little bit, but because i play and look at it so much i dont mind spinning and shuffling the charms along. most of my charms have meaning and the clips just didnt get picked out in the process of making the bracelet (and i didnt want to waste precious charm space!).

but i have heard of other girls whose bracelets have broken as the beads got stuck over the middle grooves (no clips)..................... so i guess its really upto you!:thinkin:

WoooHoooo...now Im REALLY done!!! Good Heavens I have people coming over for dinner, and I drop everything once the mailman gets here to play with my beads,& to share...:yahoo::yahoo:
