Thanks for the advice - I was out today and found the most enthusiastic Pandora retailers I have ever encountered at a local mall

When I explained the situation and that I wanted to buy the bead clasp... they offered to let me swap my existing bracelet and just pay the extra to upgrade to the new, longer, bead clasp chain! Wow

That will save me about $40

(they didn't have it in my length so they are going to ring me when they have it in) - apparently they sell second-hand chains. Anyway, to return their good faith I decided I just
had to get a bead (hem hem any old excuse

) so I got the June birthstone - not because its my bday month but because it goes nicely
They showed me how the clasp works and whilst I certainly agree its pretty hard to open, at least it is easy to close (which is always the hardest bit!)
I feel kinda sad about saying goodbye to my original bracelet as it was my 21st present, but at the same time I'm sure my aunt will understand and appreciate that I need a new one because I loved the original so much that I filled it up too much!
And btw I LOVE
www.pandora-beads.com. I actually found it before I found this forum

I don't know any other website that offers so many completed bracelet sample ideas
