Pandora addicts ... how do you design your bracelet?

Yes i like the beads with dots better. If you can add a couple of silver charms where the grey swirls are, then spread the other glass beads a little further around the bracelet.

i haven't been into pandora for long, but isn't the safety chain supposed to be by the clasp? or am i wrong?

I have three white with the tan dots. I will try pulling the grey swirls off doing three of each. And repost.
I put the safety chain in that location because it stays less tangled. Note I put a basic 25. US bead on the end in case the bracelet opens and I don't catch it. I truly only do safety chains in the winter because of long sleeves. =) TTYL !

Hi Using_Daddy's_$$, love your work, it all looks great....since you ask for opinions on this one, I actually think the gray muranos go better with the purple ones, don't really know why! (sorry Aprilshack!) . Maybe it's just that I think the white with tan dots are kind of warm, if you know what I mean, and the purple and gray are more cool colours.
The gray ones on their own with the silver beads look kind of lonely. They need other colours. :smile1:

BTW thanks for directing us to this thread. Didn't know it existed until now! :flowers:

No prob. I come here when I need design opinions.

I love reworking my babies!!!!
I think I am with you on the greys and purples following better. If I remove the white with tan dots they usually go on my two-tone which is murano-less now and they look fab because of the tan.I am thinking of baby blue muranos instead of the white with tan polka dots. I will snag some pics of baby blue muranos I have been eyeing.
The second bracelet is more muted to focus on the pretty oxidized bracelet in looks much better IRL...

I really like them. Great job!

:ty:

Using Daddys, I like your second version better. Thanks for reminding me about this thread, I forgot all about it!!

:ty:

I think you're right, the photos never do them justice. I see your point about the gray going with the oxidized beads. I checked out those gray ones on Friday IRL and they are great neutral, light ones.
My niece who just turned 10 got her first pandora, with the light blue candy stripe glass bead....it is gorgeous. Would go well I think with the purple beads too. I took her shopping for a bead to add and she chose the money bag. I think I'm going to need that one as a sign to stop spending money on beads for myself!

I really like this one, it is in the new Pandora brochure I got:

I love that brochure too!!!!!

These are the 2 muranos I want to play with on my purple creation.

^ UsingDaddys$.....Do you think if I did what you did to the whole silver bracelet (putting it in a bag with eggs and oxidizing it) it would look like the one u buy in the store??? Then I would just polish the clasp....Hmmm....Im tempted....

Your too funny!!! Always thinking (like me). :D

I was thinking of using the egg technique to darken my oxidized bracelet when it fades (I am currently on my 2nd). I however I donot think the re-oxidizing will work. First I fear it will not get shiny, because as you shine oxidization up,the oxizidation doesn't shine it comes off. I think it would also leave residue on your arm. Great for the beads because it leave the dark oxidization in the bead details.

I have Pandora, Trollbeads and Chamilia. My first bracelet was a trollbead beach theme with blues and purple, I have a pandora alice in wonderland theme with silver beads and red murano heart beads, and several Chamilia, one is all pink, white and silver bracelet that feature the empowerment beads set. I have a few hard bangle chamilias with groupings of 3 to 5 beads in various color themes, my favorite features yellow swarovski beads surrounding a gold starfish and cz bead. I love these bracelets.

^ hmmm....i didn't think of that.......what if you do the egg thing then bring it to the pandora store to be tumbled?? Maybe that would make it shiny?

I think it will remove the oxidization. I noticed my deeply oxidized beads have lightened over time. I clean my bead once every 3 months in the tumbler to avoid them losing the oxy detail.

Nice!!!! You seem to design by theme. I think I have seen your creations on the Pandora pic thread or one of the many "Pandora bracelets anyone?" thread.

Love both those....why not get one of each? Wish we had the summer swirl ones here. For some reason they didn't bring them out. Same with the heart ones......but I found a seller on Ebay with them and bought the red heart one.:cloud9:
