Pandora addicts ... how do you design your bracelet?

I like beads that have a meaning, remind me of someone, or gifts!

I have a bracelet and a necklace and I swap my beads around when I clean it for a change.

I have two tone or gold beads. I don't have a themed bracelet or neckace and the only beads I have the same are two gold angels (for some personal loses) and my clips. I do have a silver turtle which my aunt gave me and he is very special.

I don't really "do colour" so the munaros don't appeal to me - however I love them on others.

I do have some beads with pink sapphires, clear and champange CZ and quite a few "danglies" but they have to go on my bracelet as they don't sit right on the necklace unless in the middle as a "centre piece".

I do like bracelets that are "uniform" but I would not have the patience for that, nor would I usually get more than one bead at a time unless it was birthday or xmas and then I wouldn't get to choose! Luckily DH had good taste. He usually goes gold... :graucho:

I have 2 bracelets. The first one has beads that mean something to me and several heart beads. It is a mix of gold and silver no glass beads. The second one has all silver beads that have the mostly the same size and are shapes. Again no glass beads. Not sure why I don't put the glass on them because I really like them. Both have safety chains and I like to wear them together. I have though about starting another one but money is tight right now so I think I will wait. I do like the new wood beads so when I get some cash I may start one with these beads on it.

I change mine up all the time. I have several. Lately I have been wearing my purple beads (because I just got them) on a Chamilia bangle. Some of mine have meaning, but I like to make my bracelets symmetrical, with matching beads.

Hi,
I just did all my babies over and it seems I set them up around new beads or a new piece of match jewelry. When new beads release I buy my fav's. This last release was big because of the leather bracelets.
I love to layer wearing 2-3 bracelets so even though each bracelet has a theme they need to flow together.
To keep my buying within reason I buy all gold beads from eBay used from high rated collectors who change up their creations like I do.
And lastly all my mistake beads or beads I all just bored with (mostly muranos) I sell on eBay to keep $$$ coming in for new Pandora. ;)

Adding Muranos~
When buying muranos I suggest buying 3-4 all at once, but at least with 3 you have one for each section. And because muranos differ with each lot.

Creating~
Bring your beads to your shoppe on a felt pipe cleaner to ensure your new purchases flow with your current collection. This makes playing easier, quick on and off, helps avoid purchases you may regret later and you can play while your base bracelet is getting cleaned in the Pandora cleaner , great for the multi-taskers like myself.
I bought a black pack of the pipe cleaners at the craft store and it really aids in creating, the bag will last forever even after sharing a few with friends!

Have Fun!!!

Wow! What a great idea. I'm getting Pandora fever now after reading and looking at everyone's bracelets! Love them!!

I love to make jewelry and never make anything symmetrical unless customers asks me to do so for them. There is something special about a piece being unique, almost like making a string of pieces of your heart. It means more. And this is also why I almost never sell the pieces I make. They become so personal to me that parting with them is too painful. It's a good thing I have a real job, too...

I discovered Pandora on a trip with DH to the Bahamas. Bought a bracelet and 3 beads and have been hooked every since. DH and DS usually buy me my beads, so they don't have a "theme" per say, but have ended up being all silver with some brown and blue accents (no muranos though). A few don't work on my bracelet (orange butterfly enamel, yellow hypnotic), but I got a leather lariat and wear them on there. My next bracelet might be more "designed", but each bead still with meaning! I even have a list in my journal of why and where I get all my beads so I can look back!

You actually work for a Pandara shoppe designing bracelets???? Cool. I would love to do that part time it would not feel like a part time job.
