It is much more classy than I thought I’d go for, I had committed to the Montaigne but then I saw the palais and I couldn’t resist! Still terrified of the corners but I’m trying to be aware of them!

I know what you mean!! But a bag is meant to be enjoyed and to use too. It’s too beautiful a bag not to use it to its fullest!
Hi all, I had posted this in the issues thread but thought I’d post here too. My grand palais seems to be molting! There is a white residue type coming off the edges of the strap and bag and the clochette. It’s strange, in some places it comes off in others it doesn’t. It’s very noticeable as it is so white! Also there is one spot on the strap where there seems to be a bit of sealant/glazing missing on the strap. It’s tiny, so you think it would be a cause to worry? Could you guys look at yours to see if you see the same? I had to return my Lumineuse due to melting glazing so now I’m worried! The picture of the gap in glazing is very enlarged

Made in France! Someone else in the forum said the white stuff goes away, residue glue I think? So that’s not worrying me now! The gap in the glazing is tiny so maybe I’m making a mountain out of a molehill?
I feel like with all these happening more often to LV bags, we tend to have a higher tolerance to issues like this, and tend to blame ourselves for being too picky…

I had some small spots of glue but it’s gone now.
I’m thinking about my sagging on my bag I’m sorry about it.
Could you please take a photo on your bag when it’s standing on a surface , on the both long side so I could se how your bag looks like?

I think it’s definitely odd, the crease is very sharp. Here are some pictures of mine! No creases, and feels very firm.
It’s not really marks on the bag, it’s more like on the edging and can come off. I’ve sent pictures to my SA so we’ll see what he says!

I’ve decided that I going to bring my back. I don’t like the the big creases my bag got.

After a long shipping delay, I ended up sending my Grand Palais back. It was just too large for my day to day and I don’t work outside of my home. Ordered a neo alma pm in empreinte and it surprisingly shipped in less than a week. Love the purple interior and the pm is just enough smaller to make it perfect for me. Plus it has feet! Just sharing in case anyone else is looking for something slightly smaller
