WoW ! An another amazing rehab ! Your one dedicated lady ! :flowers:

I have an older bag I bought on eBay while intoxicated that may need some TLC, considering I only paid $15 for it, I don't care if I mess it up, haha.

That's a good way to approach rehab projects; pick an inexpensive bag and that way if it doesn't work out "Oh well!"

Good luck on your rehab and be sure and post before and after pics!

Wow! The bag looks wonderful now. Great work!

beautiful job

It really looks amazing!!! You did an awesome job. It's a really cute bag too :)

Wow, ur bag look amazing...it looks like new...great work

Incredible rehab....the "post treatment" shots do not even look like the same bag! You did a wonderful job! Congratulations- I know you will certainly enjoy carrying her!

Beautiful work on a lovely bag. Definitely enjoy wearing it!

I so admire your patience Katev!! Congrats on another successful rehab!! Such a classy classy bag will look fab on you!! :)

wow! katev you are a rehab wizard... that bag is absolutely gorgie. congrats on making this beauty shine

Looks so clean and new!

Thank you, TPRers! I really enjoy finding and restoring these lovely bags. If I saved up all the money that I've spent on "projects" I am sure that it would be worth a couple/few beautiful new bags, but I really like working on these forgotten beauties! They are so pretty and well-made! :D

Amazing restoration on that beautiful bag. Awesome find. Congrats!!

I wish I could find one, luckily the Salvation Army and both Savers aren't too far from me with two Goodwill's along the way, so the hunt begins!!

I just received my sample of the Leather Therapy and can buy it at The Riding Store not too far from me.

Thanks for all of your details of products you have used. It's really helpful.

Kathy

that is an incredible transformation! i must admit to seeing your reveals and just feeling so unlucky. i'll never find a great diamond in the rough like that at my thrift stores. but today with this post i realized that i really haven't gone to look for a vintage coach in need of love (and bleach, and oxy,and woolite, and elbow grease, and shout! )

so, you have now inspired me....i will make it my duty to find a little something to work on.

great job once again!

Thank you, and good luck with your rehab efforts! My advice is to start with a simple, inexpensive, dark-colored, unlined bag that is in pretty good condition. Get started on an easy rehab and don't worry if it doesn't come out well, because it didn't cost much!

But be warned, rehabbing can be very addictive! :graucho:

Beautiful diamond in the ruff you have there!

I loved the progress pictures! You did an amazing job...I can hardly believe it is the same bag!

Enjoy carrying her!

Thanks a lot, I wasn't sure what to do after the first wash. She was a lot better but still not good enough; I'm glad that I stuck with it and that she turned out so well.

"But be warned, rehabbing can be very addictive! "

It is!!!
Great job once again! I keep wondering how extreme we will get in our efforts. This one paid off!

Wow:woot:

That turned out awesome!!!! The bag has a new lease on life. :urock:

Not only did the previous owner ruin the bag but the black marker under the flap was compliments of SA marking the 12 price on it, in case the price tag came off. They do some serious damage to stuff :censor:, with their pricing pen and method of tag attachment (staples and heavy duty metal clasps to keep pairs of shoes together). The SA staff shows little respect for thier own merchandise.

Wow!!! I'm going to have to do that to the bag my husband bought me at the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Alabama. It's a Mia in berry sateen and has some pretty bad grease stains on the bottom and a small one on the back. I've tried everything but the washing machine, but I'll do it now that I've seen your results!

I can't believe how fantastic this bag turned out. It really looks wonderful, like brand new! You did it once again! I for sure will know who to come to if I should ever attempt a rehab!
