I would have no problem with this if quality control were not an issue. I like to have several bags to choose from when purchasing in store because so many bags have faults! I wouldn’t mind being on a waitlist or having to search for a bag if I knew it would be perfect when I finally got it.When I started buying LV bags 20 years ago this is how it was. You used to go down and be on “the list” for ages. I am thinking they are doing this on purpose to create a hype and demand. Hermès and Chanel have been really successful using this tactic. It’s really got people’s attention so maybe that’s exactly what they are trying to do. Back to waitlists and building relationships with an SA.
Yeah I saw that on my IG feed. I think that means it's gone forever.I just noticed the Pochette Accessoires in DE canvas is gone from the site(?), since the page I have bookmarked now says "page not found." The PA in Monogram canvas and DA canvas both still say "call for availability" as of the time-stamp of this post.
Omg! It IS gone!Yeah I saw that on my IG feed. I think that means it's gone forever.![]()
Oh no!Yeah I saw that on my IG feed. I think that means it's gone forever.![]()
Usually it would just say "call for availability," it wouldn't be completely gone as an option. But who knows, maybe it's an error, or maybe they'll all be gone soon...Oh no!Really hope it will get restocked...

Vuitton is opening several new factories to meet fast-growing demand around the world (LVMH announced outstanding financial results this month). New manufacturing sites include one outside Barcelona (Spain), one in Texas, and a third center being negotiated in the Vendée region (France).

The majority of people who work at LV factories in Europe are not “artisans with experience passed down from generations.” This description may fit a few people in Asnières, but that’s about it! Apart from Asnières, most LV factories are implanted in rural France: huge manufacturing centers with high tech tools, populated with a wide-variety of middle-class workers.Texas, yuck! Please no more USA factories. I get the whole “America First” crap, but keep that to Chrysler, Ford, and Carrier. I had a very (expensive) sofa made in Texas and was not at all satisfied with the quality of the piece. Not to say that all Texans are bad at manufacturing goods, but would greatly prefer an old school European artisan with experience passed down from generations, not to say they wouldn’t be sprinkled in the factory like San Dimas, but the majority of the artisans will not be European Artisans, that I can tell you!
