i have wider feet and wear a 38.5 in most H shoes. my orans are all size 39.5. i probably stretch it a bit more in my orans than most though, because i want them to fit slightly looser upfront. i have aloha's too and those are size 39 but those are a bit stretchier.

ah, this makes this more complicating. Lol so you’re 38.5, but you went up an entire size? My Chanel ballet flats I went up a 1/2 size cause a normal 8 was too tight. I also have wide feet, so this makes it difficult since I can’t try it on

In most styles of H shoes I am a 38.5.. my foot tends to be on the narrow size & H hoes just fit right
I don't experiment with other designers for the most part as the sizing & fit is so inconsistent
Chanel ballet flast I can go up a half size to a full size, that's why I like to try them because they have
a tendency to all fit differently as they are hand made

hi! I know it’s been year since you posted this, but I just got my first pair of Oran sandals, and I am the same size as you (US7). I would say my feet are normal in width. I bought the 37.5 but am wondering if the fit is right or a little too snug. For reference, I wear 37.5 in Chanel and Valentino flats. Did you keep your 37.5 or end up changing the size? Here’s a photo of mine on for illustration purposes! All advice welcome :)

Mgallows, that’s how my 37s fit (and they’re comfy) Bc I’m in nyc and walk a lot, I thought I’d like a little more length, but not having much luck.
I’m a 37 Gucci, ysl
37.5 Manolo, louboutin, Dior
37.5 Chanel (but go up to 38 in espadrilles and jelly sandals and sport sandals
37.5 Valentino mule, but go up to 38 in the cage flat, kitten heel. I’m unhappy going up to 38 in the Valentino rock stud flat sandal as I think it’s similar to the Oran In that the volume of the foot dramatically increases
Currently I have Orans in 37 (a bit short, but perfect fit on the feet)
Oasis 37.5 (good length, but sliding through once I broke them in) and Orans in 38 (perfect length but too much volume
I’m a 37 Birkenstock’s, 7 cole haan, 7.5 brooks sneaker
Of course all of these shoes fit perfectly in the store?????!!!!! :sad: Hope that helps! Good luck!

Correction: edit: I misspoke re 37. I meant 37.5 Oran is perhaps just right re volume ^
the 38 Oran is better length for me (bc I wanted a bit more length, but it’s too much volume.
I think this is consistent with Serene, Aimee3 and Doni above. :smile: I love the look, but my feet Are not cooperating :(

Thanks for the info! When you say volume, do you mean the leather “H” part? Do you find this gets too wide for your feet?

Yes exactly! But, some leathers seem to mind more readily to the foot and so it’s not such a problem; others don’t. I don’t know why.

I’m in the same situation. I’m a size 38 in other brands but the Oran size 38.5 still seemed small on me. I eventually ordered a size 39 and decided to keep those instead
