oohhhh, how quick we are to judge. Innocent until proven guilty I thought?

Disclaimer: I don't know one way or the other if he's guilty, but like every other person, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know any of the actual facts on this one....but was he actually convicted of child molestation? I know he was acused but can't remember if he was actually convicted.

I don't know any facts on this one either but I honestly think that even Oprah at times does stuff to gain extra publicity (remember Tom Cruise/couch incident?).

I totally agree!!

There was also her "school" in South Africa that she apparently just put together out of the goodness of her sweet little heart (bullsh*t)....

I personally can't stand the woman....but I suppose to each his own.

I don't think we should be calling someone a "child molester" if they haven't been actually convicted of anything. That's a really harsh label to throw at someone without any proof.

To my knowledge he hasn't been convicted of anything. Convicted being the operative word. It's not like he's one of these convicted sex offenders just released onto the streets from jail and is moving into your neighborhood to pose a threat to your children.

The man just wants to watch a play. He shouldn't be called names...at least not yet.

He was not convicted. That incident was a few years ago. Maybe he paid her off, maybe the evidence was not stong enough. Something should have happened by now. I'm sure so much is done without her knowing. Oprah is in a different atmosphere, not sure how up she is on things like that.

Ummm I highly doubt Oprah invited R. Kelly to this. Highly. This is the same women who many in hip-hop hate because she doesn't agree with their lyrics. R-Kelly has the same type of lyrics. It says he was invited, it didn't say she was invited him. R. Kelly is from Chicago. I'm sure he had enough connections to get a ticket. He also said he saw the show several times on Broadway. Did she invited him to those shows too?

As far as I know he was never convicted. And the girl in that video definitely looked like she was enjoying herself and no way did she look like a minor. (I didn't watch the video, a friend showed me some screenshots...)

are you sure your friend showed you the right pics :confused1:
every other person I have heard who saw the tape said the girl looked like a 12 yr old she hardly had breast.And the way she danced was very juvenille trying to mimick a sexy dance, plus her face proved that she was in fact a kid.

He thought she was 18 when during, uh, filming.

It wasn't until later on he realized she was actually 15.

I don't think it's right to call someone a child molester until they've actually been convicted (and/or found guilty).
