I think the personal (romantic) life she attempts to present to the public is beyond fake. I find her on screen "generosity" to be fake and all for show. I also always hated how she was so quick to hug her celeb guests that appeared on her show, but she would keep her "normal" guests at arms length when greeting them. I swear I could see her cringe inwardly when they approached her physically. I just never bought into her whole public persona. I think it's all for show, IMHO.

The hotel and location are gorgeous! The hotel is right on the beach. Saturday's weather was lovely as well-- it was in the 70's!

Depends, does she receive any sort of attention for it? I've read stories of how she's frugal with her own family. I'm not saying she's all bad, but I personally don't fully buy into the image she tries to present.

I know of things that she's done where she hasn't received public attention for it and then there are things where she's received a lot of public attention....probably because of who she is I'm guessing. I've never heard anything about being frugal with her family other than the her dad's wife who felt she was entitled to have her lifestyle funded by Oprah. Other than that...I've never really heard anything coming from her family. I'd also suspect when you have as much money as she does, it's easy for family to think you should just give them money as if they are on your payroll. So don't know how much of that plays into those stories you've read.

Yeah. That's what I've always heard about her too. I know of one person that worked for HARPO that always spoke highly of her in that regard as well as what she did that wasn't publicized.

if Oprah was gay, trust she would have come out by now. People adore her and her coming out, would only increase her empire, so I highly doubt she is gay.

I too have heard stories of acts of random generosity/generosity on the down low. I think she strikes a balance between what needs to go out there for reasons such as PR/public awareness of a cause/keeping a presence in the media etc and, not letting her left hand know what her right hand is doing charity-wise.

Oprah Winfrey shows some cleavage at the 2015 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood.

The 61-year-old entertainer was joined on the red carpet by her longtime love Stedman Graham.

Oprah‘s BFF Gayle King was also seen hitting the star-studded event.
