Thanks all for your feedback. I have to say I was so sure that I was going to get the black dial with the diamond markers. But when I saw #3, I had to pause and think a bit. I was asking my SA if I could get an MOP with roman numerals and the oyster bracelet, because that would be the perfect combo that I could dress up and down. (I felt that with the black dial and diamonds, I would be attracting more attention than I was comfortable with - the only reason I was looking at that was for the contrast, as I plan to keep this one for a long long time). Lo and behold, the next day when I walked in, she said she had my watch and showed me #1. I must admit as I put it on my wrist, I started smiling. If this was the only rolex I ever have, I think I will be happy. The MOP has enough flashes to keep it interesting and go with a lot of my clothing choices. The watch is definitely not in your face, but very understated and elegant.
But of course, that was not enough - I had to get other opinions. And most of you reinforced what I thought and felt about this watch, so that makes me feel very good. Needless to say, they are all gorgeous watches and I am so fortunate that I am in a position to make this choice.
The one thing I did learn in this process that I hope helps someone in the future is this: if you get an MOP dial, you cannot upgrade to any other dial, short of trading your watch in and getting something else. If you get a roman numeral dial (non Mop), you can upgrade to diamond markers or do stick. But if you do stick or diamond, you cannot change to roman numerals. That is considered special, even though they don't charge more. So if you start with diamond markers, you can change dial only to stick or another diamond marker, not roman or mop. So there are a few rules and getting it right the first time is likely to save one a lot of headache.
Thank you so much once again.
