I'm not sure I did a super job of capturing the mop dial on either one of them. Besides, I don't think they show really well on a picture. However, I do understand that this is not something you love. So in general then, what would you pick assuming you loved the mop? The Roman Numerals? The diamonds? Or the black dial with diamonds, given there is more contrast there?

I'm with ame. Not sure if it is how it was photographed but the mop looks cloudy. And I think the mop, jubilee band and fluted bezel is very busy with a lot going on. I think the 2nd one really stands out. So 2 is my pick.

That might be my fantastic picture taking skills. I honestly liked the mop, which is why these watches are even in consideration. That is why I am not sure if MOP is more of a viewer perception or if there is a certain way it has to be.

But I cannot help but wonder if the black with diamonds provides the contrast that is necessary as I age, hopefully gracefully and take me from dressy to sporty and back.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. They are all classic Rolex. You have to love it. I suggest putting the black on one wrist and a mop on the other wrist. Look quickly between the two and one may pop out more as the HTH one. Wouldn't it be nice if you could get two?

Oh I wish I could get 2. But then I think I won't be able to really appreciate it, 'cause I'll want to make sure both get wrist time. I want to get one watch that I can wear all the time, that will get me through dressing up for formal occasions as well as carting the kids around, grocery shopping etc. I want to truly enjoy this watch and not set off in the quest for the next one ykwim? This is an attempt (only an attempt) to minimize and consolidate and commit to one. And that is where I am having issues lol.

I tried that too - and all I ended up doing was saying oh this is so pretty and nice but this is uh so gorgeous too - what is a girl to do. That is when I decided I should get some opinions. I do think that the roman numerals are so classic, but I kinda wonder if I will regret not getting the diamonds.

So basically comes down to diamonds or Mother of Pearl? With the MoP and diamond, my concern is contrast, whether there is enough of it.

As I am passionate about diamonds I definitely thought I would go for 2 or 3 and I am not into Rolex since they are too sporty for my style so I thought the diamonds would make them more feminine, however, 1 is just perfect, cannot put a finger on it but I love that watch, really everything is perfect about it to me and it is very very classy. I do personally love the MOP it is a definite feminine touch, my choice would be 1, then 3 and then 2, 2 just does not stand out to me and I think that the MOP would be easier to wear every day unless you wear black most the time but even then MOP would work. It is really personal and subjective what you fall for but I fell for 1 the moment I saw it despite the lack of diamonds. It really depends whether you can love it so much and fall for it too, if not then maybe look around more but it sure is a beauty in my eyes.
