Thank you for your input! The more opinions, the merrier. It helps to reassure me before making such a large purchase.
The bags with willow floral embellishments are beautiful too. While some bags Coach sells seem trendy, the more I look at these florals, the more classic I think they are, but not boring. As you said, elegant but fun!
Definitely! I like some level of extra detail on a bag as long as it still has the functionality I need. Better to get something that makes you happy when you use it than something that just does the job.

I'm a huge COACH wh0re. I own about 30 items. And none are teal or pastel or rose etc....I think when you pay so much, it's best to go with neutral colors. I see rose as a cheap selection whether it's COACH, PRADA or whatever.

I think it's how you were it. I don't wear much pink, but I own some teal bags. All black, black boots or sanders and a teal bag for a pop of color is classic, elegant and beautiful. Same can be said for all white. For pink you can wear all navy and then, have a pop of pink.

I wear red that way all the time. Black with red shoes and a red bag.

I too was able to purchase a 25 tea rose (black/pink) and the classic black rogue with the lock at 25% off at Saks. So just stay vigilant.

I too am in the over 50 club and did not bat an eye or give it a second thought about purchasing the tea rose- if you love it, why not? This is not a dress rehearsal!

Ok, I will stay vigilant. Love "This is not a dress rehearsal!" So true! Thanks for your input.

That's just your preference and your perception. There are beautiful bags in every color. Just because you may not like a color doesn't make it look cheap to anyone besides yourself.

I agree with Suzanne and other posters about something just "hitting" you and it's something you just have to have. Only rarely have I regretted not following my instincts.

BTW, I'm 60+ and still march to my own drum beat. I don't dress like my granddaughters but I do like a little Boho Chic occasionally myself. lol I know my shoes are hip because the 3 teenage granddaughters are always wanting to borrow them. My purses...not so much.

I'm 53.
If you are 60+ didn't you basically INVENT boho chic?
I think the biggest bonus to being AARP age is wearing what you want when you want.
Tea roses may be a fad but they are going to be a long lasting one I think. MK and KS already have their version on the shelves.

Well yes...yes I did! LOL And everything "cool" my granddaughters wear today. The good things always do come back, don't they?

They sure do.
I read once in Harpers that 60's girls made fashion accessible to everyone with their jeans and cotton blouses and no label bags.
Anyone could buy these items and look stylish and of the moment. No couture fittings needed.
So thanks!
