Hi Ladies,

Thanks for all your lovely comments! I picked up my resized ring, 4.25 and took some better photos, NOT using my iPhone. I do love the ring and am constantly staring at it. I want to wear it every day. Too over the top?

Thanks for letting me share!

(Btw, sorry for the yucky hands. Really, too close up but no other way to get good pics of the ring.)

Thanks Love Rocks! Several people, strangers, have commented. Do you have your ring yet? I think you said you would be picking it up. I am enjoying mine. :)

Hi there! I think it is a beautiful ring, and it if makes you happy, you should absolutely keep it! My husband bought me a blue tourmaline cocktail ring from Tiffany's last year and while I don't wear it all that often, every time I see it it makes me happy. Overpriced? Probably, but the craftsmanship and the stone itself are perfect!
Enjoy it!

This is the Round Tiffany Aquamarine Soleste- 2.94 carat Aquamarine. Shown here with my Harry Winston 4 carat, bar set eternity band. Sorry for the poor imagine, taken on my cell phone, and as I said my "old" hand shot. My heart leaps every time I look at it, actually every time I look at them both! I encourage anyone interested in this beautiful ring to go and take a look in person, have one brought in in a carat weight you prefer, you will not be disappointed. Both my husband and my birthdays are in March so its both of our Birthstones, BONUS, our Anniversary is at the end of the month so I have to wait till then, its hard... Ill take better pictures when I get it in Rome in a couple of weeks. I hope this uploads ok.
Your ring is amazing!! I LOVE it!!

I think the fact that your husband bought it for you is totally worth it. He paid it and he was okay with it. My boyfriend hates when I return stuff because if he bought me something without telling me, he had his reason and thought about it. If you don't like it then it is different.

Love the ring! Makes me want one too! Just went to Tiffany's today to check out their Soleste rings. I did not see the aquamarine but this post got me thinking!

Thanks Kiana and AlbertsLove. I have gotten more accustomed to wearing it and appreciate the fine workmanship even more after wearing it for a couple of months. I have compared the halo work by Tiffany to other designers and noticed so many details that they have taken into consideration in crafting a halo to make it highlight the center stone and to make the ring itself a stunning, ensemble piece. The level that the center stone sits above the halo, the brilliance of the melee stones, the size of the melee stones that would be complement the center stone, the space between the halo and the center stone. I discovered that all these things make a huge difference in how harmonious the whole halo set ring will look to the eye. Trying to find the perfect halo for my diamond is a real challenge given that the Tiffany Soleste I own is so well done.

I will be proud to pass this Soleste on to my daughter. And I am much more appreciative of my husband's taste as well. I did go back to Tiffany after I started wearing it to see if I saw any others that I thought were as beautiful, and I really didn't. I loved the tanzanite and the emerald, but the aquamarine was the perfect one for me, and the perfect size. I NEVER would have chosen that myself.

Kiana, I think you can ask the SAs to look for an aquamarine for you. Some stores don't display one.

Good luck girls. If you want a halo, I would definitely consider Tiffany. Happy hunting!

Just slightly under 6500 for mine, we decided to have the 2.94 carat brought in to our Houston store from NY. Our amazing SA showed us their entire US inventory of available size Aquamarine stones and they ranged from about 4k to 7k for stones up to the 3 carat ranges. Over 4 carat Aquamarines 13k+ . My husband and I thought it was great value and will, because of its beauty and universal appeal of Aquamarine, be a very good investment over the years. I have no doubt this will be an extremely popular setting for Tiffany's. Now you know.....:smile1:
Hi ladies! This is my first post in this forum, so please forgive any mistakes I might make.
EpiFanatic and LoveRocks-both your rings are beautiful. Are you still enjoying them as much as when you first received them?
My husband just gave me this lovely ring for Christmas and I love it! I had to take it in for resizing and he wanted me to check out a few of the other rings he considered purchasing, including the soleste yellow diamond. For me, it was an easy decision. The aquamarine soleste was my clear favorite:smile1: And it's my birthstone). Although, the yellow diamond is still on the list for an upcoming major anniversary!
My question is, was there a recent price increase at Tiffany's? My ring is a 1.66 carat aquamarine stone with somewhere around .47 in diamonds. The price was $6,800. $7,150 after tax. You both seem to have much bigger stones for the same price. I'm beginning to wonder if we bought at a bad time...
Thanks for your time and input. I'm really enjoying the insight this forum provides!
