Idk if it's overpriced or not because Idk how much it cost and I'm too lazy to look it up ATM.

Having said that, I LOVE aquamarines and think your ring is absolutely gorgeous!

I think you've been given some great advice but ultimately, how do YOU feel about it? It looks like a truly gorgeous aquamarine, so if you decide to keep it (which I hope you do, IMHO) then wear it with pride! Happy 15th anniversary!!! :flowers:

I have just joined this forum and this is my first post. I have always enjoyed reading it. My dear husband of 26 years at the end of this month,just purchased the same ring for me! It's a 2.94 carat Aquamarine Soleste round. It is the most beautiful piece of art. When I first saw it, it Took my breathe away and Im "old" and have seen alot of beautiful jewelery in my day! This ring is magnificent and the pictures just do not do it justice. My husband and I were amazed at the value for money it represented. The Tiffany Legacy is double the price for the same size stone and similar carat weight in diamond and IMO this ring is by far the more stunning, exquisite ring...and half the price of the Legacy! that's a win win! As soon as I figure out how to upload the pictures I will post them, please forgive my "old" hands though girls, but the ring looks fabulous on any age hands! Tiffany's provenance will always make this beautiful ring a winner forever.Congratulations on your anniversary and that ring is a keeper!

This is the Round Tiffany Aquamarine Soleste- 2.94 carat Aquamarine. Shown here with my Harry Winston 4 carat, bar set eternity band. Sorry for the poor imagine, taken on my cell phone, and as I said my "old" hand shot. My heart leaps every time I look at it, actually every time I look at them both! I encourage anyone interested in this beautiful ring to go and take a look in person, have one brought in in a carat weight you prefer, you will not be disappointed. Both my husband and my birthdays are in March so its both of our Birthstones, BONUS, our Anniversary is at the end of the month so I have to wait till then, its hard... Ill take better pictures when I get it in Rome in a couple of weeks. I hope this uploads ok.

Thank you Ladies so much for your thoughtful comments and the information you have shared. I do really love the ring and my husband did put a lot of effort into choosing it. As long as he didn't empty out the 401k or hock the house, I guess we'll survive. It probably wouldn't be considered much for most if the TPFers. :) I guess I just have my own silly issues. I showed my husband the general opinion of you generous women on TPF. It sure made him feel so much better! :).

I would like to wear it on my ring finger so when I get it resized I'll post an update. Do you think it's too much for daily wear? Over the top? Too costumey? Would you ladies wear it everyday? I only wear a plain platinum band usually. I would size it down to a 4.25. I have never minded have ugly hands before but now scary sunburnt claws are not doing this beautiful ring justice. Lol!!

Your ring is really gorgeous and I am so happy to know that you love yours too. Thanks for sharing your opinions and all the detailed observations. It helped me feel much better about mine, that we weren't making a huge mistake. Now it almost seems like a bargain! Lol!!
