she's go gaga when she receives that. and that's a pretty generous brother you have, you have all rights to brag about him. more young men should treat their ladies just as well as he does (i'm sure there's lots). well, as some others said, as long as he has the funds to do it, go for it. something like that would be simple and perfect and could be worn on all occasions. you rock! nice job on the pick!
Preppy, that bracelet is beautiful. I have a son, and I wouldn't want him buying his friends anything like that. I think helping to host a big surprise party for her with her parents or friends would be wonderful. The bracelet is nice, but much too serious a gift in that teen relationships come and go. That's something he should be buying you (sister) or his Mother (true loves). Your brother is much too generous if he decides to buy it.
When I was that age, a dude I was dating bought a really nice gift for me that pales in comparison to that bracelet. I returned it because it made me feel uncomfortable. The ties that can go along with gifts like that are just too much for them to handle at that age. Teens are getting way too serious nowadays. Even at that age I was wise enough to put the brakes on certain gifts from friends. If I wanted something like that, I would buy it myself. If he buys that, he may feel the pressure to top it every time.

really cute! But I agree that this may be too much to spend....teen relationships do just come and go, I would know I'm 15 LOL. But if he thinks they have a solid relationship, then its perfect!
Thank you ladies for all of your thoughts on the bracelet! While both my mom and I were in love with the silver bracelet, he ultimately decided to get her this

I think the gucci bracelet is cute, but, the tiffanys one is more classic, one that she can wear later on in life. I'm 21 now and in all honesty, a ball-chain bracelet is not something I would wear any longer kwim? I think that this is probably an extravagant gift, but, it is her sweet 16 and as long as she doesn't expect presents like this all the time then I see no problem with it. You have a very sweet brother
