Opinions on the Celine 16?

Does anyone else have issues with the strap easily coming undone whenever the lobster claw presses against the metal loop on the top handle?

I love my small Celine 16, but I find that I tend it to hold it top handle more often because I'm afraid of the strap coming off on one end and falling off my shoulder.
Oof, that sounds rough. I personally haven't experienced this issue on my mini 16.

Might be worth a shot attaching the lobster claw facing the other way.

There’s another thread further down about the 16 bag that you may want to check out. More in-depth info there.

Overall, beautiful bag. Recommend!
Hi there! I am looking at purchasing a preloved small Celine 16, but the owner doesn't have the original receipt anymore. She said she cannot find the date code in her bag, but has this 5 digit code, so I was wondering does your small 16 have a date code somewhere? Thank you!!

I got a brand new Celine mini 16 in black from Italist for $2200 (it usually retails for $3700). They had only one available. Is this a good deal? I'm wondering if this type of deal is common or if this is very unusual.

Would anyone be able to say if the small or mini is more versatile and easily to carry? I'm considering one in tan and the small seems a little heavy when it's empty, so I'm thinking of getting the mini and carrying a tote if I need to...? I like to carry them crossbody half the time and top handle half the time! I have quite a few small/medium sized bags, and my partner always carry a backpack on days out so maybe I don't need that much space...? But then again, I've sometimes struggled with lack of space to squeeze in all my essentials (keys/phone/sunglasses case etc).

Anyone please help! I'm so confused!

Edit: looking back at this thread, it seems like the small is the way to go! Hopefully the tan holds up well?
