I ordered on Friday and the bag was delivered (to Chicago) yesterday. There was a holiday in there, of course, or it probably would have come on Tuesday. UPS tracking showed it did actually get shipped out on Friday. I found out from smoores about UPS My Choice - you can sign up for free and they will give you notifications of any delivery destined for your address, you don't need the tracking number! I highly recommend it. You can also see an estimated delivery window and you can release the package for delivery in case you won't be home.

And for $5 you can reschedule delivery or redirect to another address. I was totally weirded out by how much ups knew about me during verification for the account though, all from public records. Ironically, they had to get to the creepy level of knowledge because I was misremembering my own previous address!

You know, first sight months ago I was a little turned off by the gloss. But on recent inspection I just love the gray tone to it. I mean love. And it adds a little structure to the fabric, the way gunmetal twill is stiffer. Lacquer doesn't make as much a difference I think but a little. Oh Belle <3

Ok, felt a little goofy setting that up in the right place, but it was worth it :)

The mushroom charm just came out of the box fifteen minutes before this, thanks to Reba. There is a visible difference between that and the month old Greta, who comes out of my bag several times a day. I'm rough with my stuff. And then I think the wear from cards shows in the pictures. Also, this is bright sunlight. Much less noticeable indoors, as noted before. Delightful to use!

My mom was really amused when she noticed I had both the charm and wallet, cause the color was way too much for her. But then she saw the pair and was like... Ohhh, so that's how to match them... Now it's actually in action! Hooray inspiration!
