It's a cute bag. I just don't need any more small bags.

What do you guys think about Canteen crossbody? Too trendy, too young? I really like it, but on the fence on how useful it will be for me.
I would probably use it as a casual dinner date or a vacation.

Its perfect for travel.
Where u need to put only cash + cards + shades & simple cosmetics.
Been eyeing for this bag.

Got the canteen 30% off. Love it! I’m not a fan of the skinny strap it comes with, so experimenting with Kate Spade handles and Coach crossbody strap.

It fits my necessities (including my iPhone in the outer pocket) but not sure if it will fit sunglasses.

I like it on you! I was out last Fri night and while the woman was much younger, she had a red canteen bag (no idea who the designer is) and thought it was a great Fri night out bag. I was trying to hunt down on the internet who it may have been made by. If I remember correctly it had more of a saffiano leather look. I'm not a saffiano fan but it would hold the structure more I think in that leather. I haven't seen Coach's version IRL but like the green....it is different.

It looks great with all the strap options. Very classy and fashionable at the same time.
I am picking up the green one tomorrow.

I like smaller bags. Unfortunately this shape doesn’t work well with long wallets, which I prefer to carry. If you don’t have a smaller bag in your collection I think this could be a great addition. If you do, I think I would be on the fence.

I wasn't sure where to post this so did a search for any discussion on this bag. The canteen cross body in hunter green (style 35844) has shown as sold out for months on coach.com. A call to CS also has info that it is not available in any stores. Wrong. The DE store had two at 50% off ($175). One came home with me and the other is in nice shape and was still in the store at 3pm today. For anyone interested, their phone number is 302.737.4363 These are the nicest SAs in all of Coach so call and order if you're still interested.

What all can fit in it?

Sunglasses in a Coach case (gigantic), reading glasses (normal size case), Western rivets pouch (which I use as a grab and go wallet / wristlet), two large sets of keys. My zippy wallet is too long to fit in.

May I also say that this is infinitely nicer than the outlet version. Thick leather and a much more substantial feel. Hope this helps a bit.

I don’t think you can put an age really on bags. If you love the piece you should go with it. The ones I’ve seen the leather looks to scratch easy. I would be more tempted if it was a pebbled leather.
