Is there anyone of you who got the beige (dune) empreinte and has experienced color transfer?
I really wanna go for that one but I’m worried it will turn blue with black corners in no time

@thenewgirl it didn’t seem heavy to me (MM size) but inside it does have the LV kind of suede lining, straps and hardware, and the leather seems very durable while the book tote is soft leather (if I remember correctly).
That being said the book tote is actually bigger. You could contact them to ask about the weight of each, although Dior is not always responding accurately.

We are bag twins but I haven't used mine yet. Can't you take it back to lv to get the tagged replaced?

Once this pandemic is under control I will definitely take it out. My original intention was to use it for work.

Just arrived this morning, stunningly gorgeous and perfect for me in the MM size. It looks very well made, in USA the 6th week of 2021. I think the saffron interior is such a nice contrast to the leather and matches LV canvas SLGs too. Sigh.... Also really enjoyed reading this thread and appreciate your comments and thoughts, esp since this is a new release.

Hello ladies. I didn't end up comparing the weight between onthego and book tote, because one morning I saw turtledove in stock and ended up getting on the go.

The weight is 2.4pounds, not heavy at all and because it's so structured it feels smaller than what i expected.

Speaking of color transfer, i did not realize even jackets could cause color transfer, cuz this bag's got an red edge already...

I would have thought the leather was more resistant as it is quite thick.
Yep jackets, jeans (I had that with an older bag and was so sad), even placing her on carpet floors

I have a fair amount of felt organizers, but the Divide and Conquer for the OTG is the best! I love how the sides fit so closely and allow the bag to keep its shape.

Hi thanks for the info on the weight. Can you please tell if the bottom of the bag sticks out downwards when you have your items in it, simply said does it become saggy. Many thanks

Any one noticed the monograms on the onthego MM empreinte bicolour are not as giant as regular MM, meaning the motifs are not cut through. I wish they had done that for the regular onthego MM too. The cut off motifs always seemed a bit off to me.
