I think it’s normal maybe because the straps are attached to the fabric .. I did notice that the fabric seems stronger than other bags . I don’t think I will take mine back . So far I am happy if you decided to take it back keep me posted on what they say so if it’s not normal I will know to take mine in
Thank you for the pictures of yours. I wouldn't mind the ripples so much on the inside, but in some areas you can see them thru the canvas on the outside of the bag. I honestly don't even know how that would be possible because I would think the canvas would be too thick to have the ripples show thru. If you look on the right side of the bag between the 2 flowers you can kind of see what I'm talking about when I say the ripples show thru the canvas. It is hard to capture in the picture but it is noticeable in real life. I will keep you updated.

Was torn between these two, monogram reverse mm and noir gm. Picked mm home, as I am only standing at 153cm, I look swallowed by the bag when I used the longer straps.

Pre-order a brand new piece of mm, can't wait for it to arrive. At the moment, it costs sgd 3250.

Hi guys just a question for all you lovely people who have this beautiful bag!

Do the inner straps bother you at all? I was thinking maybe the straps would be inconvenient because they may get tangled up with items in the bag, or items may fly out of the bag when the straps are pulled out. I’m on the fence about the bag for these reasons. TIA!

Since I only use my longer straps, I never tuck them inside. They aren't very long and work perfectly for hand carrying as well. I can't imagine ever using those little handles.

I use a bag insert so I tuck the long straps in between the insert and the lining of the bag this way it’s easier to pull them out and tuck them back in.

I use the longer straps on my mm the most . The length doesn’t bother me on my shoulder. I also carry it on my arm with the longer straps . The only time I put them inside is when I use a crossbody strap .. it actually looks alright crossbody who knew ‍♀️.. the handles I just fold the longer straps over or put them in it so far hasn’t been a problem ! I’m usually not a tote girl but so far I have enjoyed my mm . Happy I decided to keep this bag !

I just returned mine for this same reason. I found the straps a little short so I purchased a bandouliere strap to use with the MM so I knew that I would have the straps tucked in. I found the it laid over the inner pockets so access to them was blocked and I just thought they got in the way. I didn’t think it’d be a bag I’d enjoy using so it went back.

I 100% know and understand this is silly, but the same bag being produced 2 different ways (updated handles, really third counting the glaze vs stitching on sides) makes me feel like I'm carrying a fake. I would be the first person to tell someone else not to give it a second thought, but there you have it. It bugs me. Also, I'm someone who actually enjoys turnover, so this also devalues my bag for resale. Grumpy. I'll get over it, but grumpy at the moment.

I had the first version of the Pochette Metis with the leather tab on the back zip and the extra pocket inside, but somehow that didn't bother me. Probably b/c I sold it due to cracking before the tab was dropped off the production.
