I received my OTG GM today. I almost fainted at the box sizes before I opened! I love the bag, it’s gorgeous, my NF organizer will fit, but somehow it feels heavier and different than I expected. I’m disappointed, as I truly love the bag and how it looks, and it fits my body and my things well. I’m going to sit a few days and carry it around the house and not use in case I return. Perhaps it being so structured as a large tote feels quite different from NF. Can’t put my finger on it.

Did it take others here a bit to get used to it? It really isn’t much wider than the NFmm but it is inches taller. Hmm. Here’s the box photo for fun the outer box was 29” by 26”. And the inner was 23” wide, still much larger than the bag. It looked like a piece of luggage was delivered!

Pondering  Not exactly a life changing decision. But I vowed a few years ago I must love everything I purchase, or I return. So we shall see. It really is gorgeous.

I didn’t become obsessed with mine until I started using it. And then the angels sang to me!!! I am also tall (5’10”) so the strap drop is huge for me. I really couldn’t l not having this bag after these last few weeks. I’ve used it every day since mid December.

I love the look of it but honestly I don’t love to carry it. It’s like my artsy, I love it but it’s just not comfortable to carry. I think it’s because I’m my opinion the bottom sticks so far out from my body that I tend to bump into things or people with the bag and they’re quite heavy.
I know, although it wasn’t the bottom of the bag that felt like it was sticking out, it was the top corners. Strange. But the shoulder straps put it at a good spot on me so the overall width is fine.

I love, love, love mine!! I mostly hand carry mine and don’t have the issues that @Melfontana described. I’m also taller than the average so that might be why. Lol
Funny you say you hand carry - when I got home from work I realized I had shoulder carried earlier, and when I hand carried it tonight felt much better and it looks marvelous. It’s got the new sewn sides and not the glazed. Every single seam and pattern etc. is a perfect match, someone really did a beautiful job quality wise. I also love the red interior - it’s a red with blues in it rather than orange (like it appeared on the website) so that’s gorgeous too!

I’m gonna try to hand carry next time I use it  it’s so beautiful - I must use it more!
Yes - I think that may change it from on the fence to must keep!

I’m so glad to hear that. It’s great with the hand carry straps, and the long shoulder strap drop is perfect for my height too. I could imagine being thrilled to have the shoulder straps some days, but hand carry seems like that might have been the thing I couldn’t put my finger on earlier today.

Thanks to all of you for your input and support! I’ll keep you posted.

I have the original with the glazed edges and I plan on keeping it until there’s an issue with the glazing.

I would too! There may never be a single issue, and even if there is I know they will take good care of you. I even wondered if the sewn sides add a bit of weight.

Just a fun fact - mine was made Christmas week, in the US, and it’s just perfect quality in every way. I also know for sure the MM size would be too small for me as a tote, so the GM is just right that way. Thanks for your help in the measurements and comparisons you did early on!

My reverse has glazed sides too. The jungle has stitched sides. I don’t notice a difference in weight, but I think the stitching improves the structure of the bag a bit. I’m tall too. I love it the size of the OTG, and being able to hand carry it ad well! BTW, I was able to order the black Empreinte over the weekend! My CA told me it won’t be here till end of the month. She told me they were going to do another “online launch” like last time, and that was changed. Can’t wait for that one!! ❤️

Thanks for the info. You are a fan of this bag. Can’t wait to see your Empreinte!

I totally didn't expect to be joining this club, but I am very happy to have done so! Stumbled across the Reverse Onthego in my local store when they received it unexpectedly. I am getting ready to leave for a 4 day horseback riding/yoga retreat and the combination of these two great bags will be perfect for the trip. Day and nights are covered [emoji2]

Because I can't stand my things jumbled in the bottom of a large bag, I was able to order a Pelikus bag organizer off of Amazon Prime with two day shipping. I prefer the Smorgas but their production/shipping time is too long this time around. Feeling really good about my upcoming excursion [emoji2]

What size organizer is this?

Thanks to all you lovelies that chimed in about this beautiful tote. After a nights sleep and carrying “loaded” this morning, decided she’s just not for me. It’s a gorgeous bag, but it was heavier than I expected so she’s winging her way back to LV this am. It’s so nice to get help here when you can’t look and try on in a boutique except when traveling. I will still visit the club to see all the gorgeous eye candy and the Empriente!!

My new size MM OTG tote. Release in Hong Kong a week ago. Need your advice, should I keep it ? I already have the Dior booktote is small size ( I have both navy and the burgundy ). I thought it was similar and plan to let go of this OTG tote but then when I carry it out today, I receive a lot of compliments. The handle of the OTG tote is shorter than the Dior booktote and this canvas material give it a more formal style than the Dior booktote. I am so undecided now ! What do you TPFers think ? Keep or let go ?

I think the bag looks lovely on you but you have to think that it looks lovely on you and that it fits your lifestyle. I would never keep something that I was unsure if I liked because I received compliments. Because you have already used it, I think it’s only right to keep it and resell it if you decide it’s not for you. Too often, people get caught up on having the newly released handbag when ultimately the handbag does not fit their lifestyle. Not saying this applies to you but it happens a lot in general.

How can you return a bag that you are currently using? I think it looks wonderful on you. Your only other option is to sell it on the resale market, I'm afraid.
