How does the H annual price increase work? I’m new to H later in 2022. I dont have enough tenure to experience any price hike. I heard it happens in every january. What % of increase is expected? All over the board or just on some categories?

I recently ordered a piece of fine jewelry that needed to be special ordered as they dont have my size. The SA informed me that it could take several months, and the price may increase if it comes next year. Just want to brace myself the degree of rise. Also on other merchandise (e.g. shoes, hats, belts, silk) I’m eyeing but planning to pace myself for the long haul. Thanks!

Hi! B30 touch generally runs between $20k and $27k according to the price list (depending on what leather combo you choose). No, epsom is not an option for touch. The only options I know of are togo, novillo, or ostrich + (shiny/matte) gator or croc. Some other touch bags have more leather options, but Birkin is not one of these bags.

It's my birthday today and hubby has told me I can get a Birkin! I'm super excited, and I plan on going to H in a couple of days to test my luck. Unfortunately I don't have a consistent SA locally (nearest H store about a year old and is 2 hrs away), but I've been buying online and whenever I'm around a store for years. I've never bought a bag on my account in the US (bought a Pictoin 22 in Montreal last year, and hubby scored me a B35 in Etain a year and a half ago in NY but that was put on his account). I really want to try my luck for a matte black alligator B30 or K28 with palladium hardware, but before I ask for it I wanted to know about how much I could expect it to cost. I don't want to ask for it and actually get it and it's something like 60k. Resale pricing is wildly variable. Found some in the high 20k's and it can get over 100k. I have the little Calvi card holder in the matte crocodile I got from Geneva over the summer and it's my favorite H piece I own. I LOVE it. Thanks for your help!

Here is the thread for pricing though it doesn’t have exactly what you are looking for and prices will vary widely depending on type of exotic (croc vs gator, shiny vs matte, Sellier vs Retourne) but expect the price to be in the $40-50k range. Also, while I believe exotic bags are far easier to get (because they are harder to sell due to the higher price and much more difficult to sell on the resale market so less appealing to bag flippers), getting one as a walk in first timer (without six figure+ same day spending) would be basically as miraculous as it gets. Try not to set your hopes too high because the disappointment can be really hard. Expect to need to form a solid long term relationship with a single SA at a single store over months/years before getting such an offer. Good luck!

ETA just realized you asked specifically about a noir matte gator PHW. Step one would be the store actually having this exact spec readily in stock which is highly unlikely to begin with let alone all the follow up junk with actually being offered it.
