Please note:

Due to many saying that cannot find this thread, starting new threads or chatting about prices elsewhere, I've moved this thread OUT of the Hermes Reference sub-forum and INTO the Shopping Sub-Hermés Forum where I will make it a sticky.

Please read or do a search within the thread before asking questions rather than repeating (as per-usual).

Please don't chat about prices elsewhere, TY :ty:

This will happen all the time - esp the customs bill, the lecture and really esp. the side eye. It is usuallly 25% for tax & duty (15% for tax + 10% for duty). But they also have the right to consficate it as well esp. if not declared. I have been also told that you are not allowed to go over your allotment regardless if you claim it or not. So really, it "best" to purchase at home. :death:

The "allotment" is what you are allowed to purchase duty free. You're definitely allowed to purchase more but be prepared to pay the applicable tax. HST varies across Canada so your 15% figure doesn't universally apply. Duty depends on the item. Different rates for leather, silk/fabric and jewelry. Though all of this is really outside the scope of this topic...

I think around eur 7000? Because i got 1 abt 4 yrs ago in Athens and it's almost eur 6000

Thank you for your reply. Ahh, the good old times, getting a B for less than 6000 :p.

Yes, I know current price for 30B in Chevre is around 7000 (I think around 7150), but I would love to know the exact price. I know my SA told me a while ago, but I forgot :shame:.
