Unfortunately no hunting stories of bags, although I did find other small items that I was looking for in Paris.

I think im going to take your advice and not visit Rue Grenelle. I am going to wear heels but take a pair of ballet flats for any mad dashes necessary! l. Up to yesterday i was going alone but my mother chirped in last nigth and said she might join me in the day trip. Whilst im at FSH she could be at George V. I am after a black 30cm. In your opinion do you think they carry quite a lot of black bags at the boutiques as it must be quite a popular choice?

Wow, good idea to have to two persons to cover 2 spots!!

It's really a matter of luck, since u have only got one day. If u have got a few more days to spare in Paris, u might be able to check in everyday for their "fresh deliveries".

My friend got a lizard birkin (gris fonce) at Rue Grenelle. Apparently it was on the shelf so she snatched it like a lightening! So if you have time and if you don't get any luck at FSH and George V, you could probably try there, too.

I am going to Paris for a day in January as well so very much interested to see what the
outcome would be!!!

Thats great to know your freind had such luck at Rue Grenelle. Will definitely take a look time permitting. Keep an eye out for my post when i get back.
