the fleurs are kind of stamped in like bolted with a small ring or something. I just got off the phone with my SA and she said they would fix it free of charge of course, but that entails me going into the store and leaving it for a couple of weeks or whatever. she also said that I could totally exchange it if I decided it wasn't practical...so now I am torn.

I wanted the fleurs because it was just soooo pretty and then I love the whole symbolic meaning of the Onatah (goddess) so I'm sad and confused lol.

blah again. I guess I can leave it over the weekend, but then I have to decide which bag I will carry that matches the whole vibe I got going on now specifically for the onatah. how inconvenient!

I totally get what you are sayin "VIBE"..we have to find another bag on a whim to love for the time being... what the other ladies are sayin is true about how it might/will happen again. I wonder if anyone else can talk about their bag issues.. give us an insight on what to expect. The last time i called about fixing an Alma they said it takes about 4-6 WEEKS!!!

Sorry to hear about your onatah. if your SA is willing to exchange it for another bag, I would do it. it's very rare to find a SA that would do things like that for you. I saw the large orange one at Ala Moana and was so tempted to get it, but I didn't want to deal with the color transfer.

good luck in deciding what to do with your bag and keep us posted.

Sorry to hear! I bought one and took it back because It made me paranoid. I was hesitant to carry it. But then again I have a 4 yr old little boy who is into everything so I was afraid he would get ahold of it or spill something on it. Not worth it for the money, and definatley not practical for me.

Wow, I can't believe that'd happen with a 2k+ bag! =\ I was thinking about getting the Onatah but was warned by others that it'd be hard to take care of. Hopefully LV will take care of it for you!

Sorry to hear that but wow, your mom let you spend so much on a bag? Mine won't but I lie and tell her I got it on ebay

lololl I'm 35 years old - My mom thinks most things I buy are 'unacceptable' however, I did buy her a chocolate YSL Muse and a white fendi SPY for her bday/and upcoming mothers day and she LOVES them so there you have it... lol

If you love it, get it fixed and just baby it everytime you use it. Don't make it your everyday bag or use it as much as you did cause then it would happen all over again. If you intended it to be an everyday bag, I can't suggest anything other than exchange it for something else.

Sorry about that. I know that I baby my bags so much that none of them shows wear yet (BF says no more until one dies, which he knows might never happen unless some accident with the bags happens).

Oh noooo, I hate when a new bag loses its "perfect" status. Take it back to LV immediately and see what they can do. If anything, exchange it for another bag which you know will last you FOREVER!

That's ridiculous for the amount of money you paid! I was never a fan of suede bags although I have a cheap one from Gap that I banged everywhere and surprisingly, the rhinestones glued on the suede are still there! This was a $150 purse that I bought on sale for $40+. I'd ask for a replacement or an exchange. Goodluck!

Why not get a store credit and wait for the leather version of it that coming for fall? I love this bag too but my SA told me not to buy it cuz of the probs with it..I bet the leather one will be way better!

I agree with this .. My SA also informed me not to buy it as they have had some returned with marks all over them, colour transfer issues etc:huh: I would wait and see the leather ones.
