Reported as it's definitely fake - the Cs are all wrong. So sorry this happened, but at least you caught it before you paid. Please keep us posted.
I was just on ebay powerseller livehelp for another ebay question and I asked the ebay rep about this situation. Here's what she said:
me: my friend bought a Coach purse on ebay about 3 days ago. Before she paid for it, I looked at the listing and it's fake. We've both reported it several times, but the listing is still there. How should we proceed so that she is not required to pay for this fake purse?
me: can it be reported directly to the vero rep for Coach?
Lora S.: The best thing to do is submit those reports. It can take a few days for those to be reviewed, in additional to that your sister can file the Item not as described dispute as well.
me: can that be filed before the item is even paid for or received?
Lora S.: Yes, that dispute can be filed 10 days after the purchase was made even if she has not paid for or received the item.
me: okay, great, I'll let her know. THANKS! I think that's all I needed!
so we need to just keep doing what we're doing. still don't pay, and if it gets to 10 days, file a report on ebay (it's easy if you don't know how to do it, if it comes to that point, we can walk you through it)
