I finally saw the new bags at the Barneys Co-Op in SoHo this weekend. It's awesome! Not sure I love the matte leather, but, in a way it makes the bag even more unique for those of us who own a black Rocco/Diego already.

I also saw the iridescent Stingray pouch with bright silver studs. That was a gorgeous bag too :D

I am considering ordering the new Rocco with iridescent hw but have a few questions for all that either have this bag already or that have seen this IRL.
1. How is the leather on this bag? I know its looks to have a matte finish but is it nice and thick, pebbly or not so much? Also... with it being a matte finish, does it look Black or more dark Gray? I know my Rose Gold hw one has gorgeous thick leather.
2. Do you think the iridescent studs will hold color well or rub off easily?

Hubby is wanting to get me a bag for Christmas, unfortunately their are no A. Wang retailers in my area so I can see this bag so I am leaning towards you all for HELP! ;)

very nice and thick pebble leather it is very black my stud does have a scratch on it but it was a manufacture issue I think, but I love it anyway its so unique I love the matte leather, it can even go through water spots....love this bag.. . get the bag

GREAT, I was so hoping to hear this because I love the looks of the studs, etc. Wonder were the best place would be to order from? Thanks so much!

If anything, I think the matte black is even darker than the normal black. I've seen the iridescent in real life and I have the black rocco w/RGHW and the leather looks so thick and sturdy. It's a beauty!

Azalea SF is a boutique in San Fransisco I believe, they have sales every now and then on the roccos. If you're planning on buying it there, I would wait for a coupon or % off. But I don't think you can return if you buy through them. Or if you see a sale, you can always try to get Nordstrom to price match. :)

Azalea SF is a boutique in San Fransisco I believe, they have sales every now and then on the roccos. If you're planning on buying it there, I would wait for a coupon or % off. I also own the Black Rocco with RGHW and am so happy to hear that the matte is as dark or even darker, wow, can't believe it! Thanks so much for posting and letting me know... must get this bag ordered and can't wait to have this. TY! ;)
