Hey everyone! I'm new to this brand & am loving seeing all of the pics you've shared of your beauties.

I was wondering if you can tell me why the leather on the rocco with iridescent studs looks so different than the others (which I think are lamb skin). Is the newer style lamb skin too? I've noticed it looks a lot more matte

Thanks!!!

Your observation is right. The black bags with iridescent studs are a matte black. I've heard it called a "rubberized leather" before. I don't personally own one so I maybe someone else can describe what it's like in person better. As far as I know, only the black bags with iridescent studs have the matte leather.

Cool! Do those studs on the bottom ever tarnish or turn colors

I've only had my bag since since mid December and it's holding up well. So far I haven't had any issues with the color changing or coming off.

I imagine it comes down to how hard you are on the bag.

I never sit it on rough surfaces other than that I don't baby it. Until I left for this trip I'd been using this bag everyday since I got it.

What does everyone think about the new AW bags in white with the iridecsent HW?
At first I though...meh....not sure if it works as well as the black. But it's kind of growing on me.

I was hooked as soon as I saw it! But have the same concerns as others about dirt and color transfer. There is a thread on keeping Wang bags clean but I've never seen how white bags have fared.

I'm traveling and couldn't bring my Rocco...I miss it!

So to hold me over I made it my wallpaper.

Love it! I like how the blues and greens come through on your pic!

I'm road tripping up through California. Started in LA and ending in San Fran. I'm enjoying it but ready to go home.

Hello all!
Had a quick question for all of you AW pros out there. I have a birthday looming and am contemplating my next handbag acquisition. With that said I have had my eye on the iridescent studs since the first time I laid eyes on the black Rocco and Rockie. I am trying to get the best deal that I can, since the colorful studs are a bit out of my comfort zone and I worry that I won't use it much in the future. I have been scouring the interweb for months and randomly found an older listing for a black iridescent Rockie for crazy cheap (it sold for $300!). This lead me to think that perhaps it wasn't authentic given the price point and popularity of this particular style. Has anyone ever heard of there being knock offs/replicas of the iridescent studs? Since my purchase will most likely be pre-owned (Unless anyone has any current discounts/coupons for NM! Lol), I want to make sure I don't wind up buying an unauthentic piece by mistake. That would make for one very unhappy birthday, lol!
