Yes, I believe so. What puzzles me is why the SA would offer the CDC's in the first place and then suddenly "remember" she couldn't sell them to her. If They are going to enforce this rule, I will definitely have to be far more careful in choosing only my most favorites.
Hi Everyone! I am wondering if any of you have heard this news regarding a limit now of 3 CDC's per household in a 12 month period. I have been fortunate to be able to purchase quite a few in the past year and never had an issue, but I am hearing that they are enforcing new rules limiting how many we can acquire. Does anyone have any intel on this? Thanks so much!!
Yes, it is true that they're limiting 3 CDC's per a household in a 12 months period cuz' it just happened to me in August when I place an order for a CDC on the US website. They canceled my order and told me that I have reached my 3 limit. With that said, they said I cannot purchase anymore CDC's until next year....such a bummer. I told them that I have never heard of such thing and plus there's no fine print listed on their website policy. They also said the boutique is limiting 3 CDC's as well.
Oh dear.... this is not good news! Thank you for sharing your experience. I will definitely have to carefully consider my choices in the future.
Apparently, you can only order 3 Maxi Twillies on H.com. They cancelled the order I tried to place today.

Yes, that would be a good idea. It would help us plan on wardrobes and purchases more carefully. I know that if I am limited to only 3 of something, I am sure to only purchase my HG's that will go the distance with me.
i agree but unfortunately with H, nothing is straightforward. i have also been told there are limits on non B/K leather bags (max 6 in a year) in a particular store and small leather goods (max 2) online
Yikes! I remember reading about H.com canceling your SLG order due to limits... what a shame! I have not heard about total bag limit though.
If you have a limit, I am sure your sales associate will tell you, and if you don't have a limit, they will tell you that too. No harm in asking at your boutique! Several months ago while traveling I was told the limit was three per day. And let's be honest, when does 1 boutique have 3 CDC's you even want? So rare!
I will say the poor representative on the phone seemed shaky that she had to explain the only 3 Maxi Twillies per YEAR(!) policy. That's the thing that doesn't make sense to me. Don't get me wrong, there are great resellers out there that we like and do business with, but, Hermes would rather we go to secondary sources instead of buying from them directly? It's a mind boggler for sure.
So sorry, I just saw your post now. I overheard this in a US boutique. Some members have mentioned this limit from H.com as well.
