i prefer the fixed chain! generally, i prefer necklaces that are fixed so the clasp doesn't swing around to the front!

now one more question! do i go for the the pendant look or the necklace look? i think i prefer the necklace (fixed on the chain) vs. the pendant, but i'm not sure...

necklace all the way. i think it looks more elegant than the pendant would.

i asked her what type of chain she'll use for the necklace since so many chains get tangled in my hair.
i usually use a ball chain for my pendants since they never tangle.
