How often are belts restocked? my size is currently unavailable on the website. How long do you think I have to wait for restock? can I be lucky and find it in a store even though it is not in stock online?

just in general all Hermes stock is unpredictable
remember that despite its global presence, Hermes does not have large factories supplying every size in every material and every colour to every store across the world

Hi everyone, does anyone if of Hermes can add more than 2 holes on a belt? I bought a belt on my oversea trip and they ran out of my size so I had to size up and added extra 2 holes but it’s still too big on me. Now I realised this is a terrible mistake Can I bring it to the store to add more holes or does anyone know of a place in London that can do it? Thank you very much!

if you explain I hope they will
but there might be some company rule that forbids a member of staff from adding more than two holes
if not you only need to invest in a leather punch
or find someone with the skill to do it for you

Thank you very much! I actually went back to the store to ask, the staffs were absolutely lovely and happy to do it for me, it’s just that adding more than 2 holes means the item will not be under warranty policy anymore. But I wouldn’t mind because else I might have to do it myself and possibly ruin the belt 😂 this is a great outcome!

That is interesting; I had not considered warranty; two extra holes (total of 5) would keep it within the original design parameters. Whereas a further two holes making a total of seven would not. Something like the longer tongue would be aesthetically less pleasing - therefore not originally approved.
Thank you for reporting back; a very interesting insight for us all.
And may I add, reinforces my principle that it is invariably always best to take a problem to Hermes immediately.
