Charlie: I love the pinkish halter and the aquaish outfits. Thanks for posting those.

I've liked almost everything she's worn, the exceptions being the black and red she wore the night of the elections (a Narciso Rodriguez dress, right?), the red dress she wore for the tea visit at the White House (it looked like it was chocking her), and the color--lemongrass, whatever it was--of her outfit on inauguration day. (Crap--two are the most important events.) I wish the suit had been either more golden yellow or more greenish, one of the two. As it was, it was a bit to pukish yellow-green for me. Nevertheless, I loved the design, the gloves, the shoes...I thought it was perfect for the occasion. The inaugural gown, IMO, was beautiful and looked great on her.

One of my favorites is the black and white dress she wore at The View. The third photo is of another outfit she wore that I liked. Though not my style, I thought she carried it well.

^^^ This is my first time seeing the last pic and I love it so much. Her dress reminds me of a bcbg max azria dress that I want. The detail on her dress is very nice and I really love the unique belt too. Just fantastic!

I remember when she wore that White House/Black Market dress on the View. There were stories about it selling out like mad afterward.

@ Kroquet - I am the real Whitley in my mind. lol

What I like about her style choices is the variety, which I find refreshing and interesting. She does not limit herself to a particular color scheme, the same fabrics or to just suits or just dresses. She doesn't always wear long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves or no sleeves. Hilary, for example, is more predictable in that she would always wear a suit and often repeat colors. Don't get me wrong, I liked almost all of those suits (there were a few that I wish she hadn't worn...), but it's not as exciting as someone who's not limiting herself to a particular style. Michelle is kind of out of the box...

:faint: OMG! This blouse is STUNNING!!!! I have to have it.

Off to find out where I can buy this Maria Pinto design! I love her creations!

Thanks for the pics Whitley!

Ok, I thought the above outfit was a dress too. It's actually a separate blouse, belt, and skirt. Great combination Mrs. *****!

The blouse is another Maria Pinto item. Spring 08'.

Here it is:

Ok, I'm really loving Pinto's creations.

Here are some others from that collection:

I hope Michelle wears this coat soon! I think it would look amazing on her!

It is so gorgeous! I am sad that Maria Pinto only has a 1 boutique and it's in Chicago!

I totally want this coat and the white blouse!

I like the Maria Pinto designs and it will be interesting to see how else Mrs. ***** supports American designers. She has shown a knack for working with talented but little known people - that's a great thing to do!
