Hi, I don't think the courier is 1941. It is of equal quality though, all leather lining and is a great bag. Mine came with the traditional paper price tag vs the 1941 price tag and the non-1941 hangtags.
Here is a picture of the marking on my 1941 saddle vs the rodarte courier. I'd think it would be "1941" if it were part of the line.
It's a gorgeous bag and part of a limited edition collection, so don't let the 1941 part dissuade you.

Good question, I'd like to know, too! I saw one of those in a brochure within the past few weeks, I think- I recognized the side kisslock pockets! Maybe you could ask your local boutique with a catalog?
@frenziedhandbag I would not hesitate to get the Rodarte Courier bag if you like the color. I am in love with those bags, they are so beautiful and high quality. They feel really great on my shoulder. I do not own one because I don't like the colors of the plain ones and the sequined ones were too much $ for me at the time.
Grateful thanks for taking the time to take these photos for me. I have so much to learn about 1941 collection bags and how to identify them. I did not know that the Rodarte was a limited edition. [emoji33] That certainly is a motivating factor for me to get it.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this bag. It is very helpful for me as I did not manage to find reviews of this bag. I agree it feels nicely constructed, comfortable on the shoulder and the leather feels great too. I love the bordeaux color. It seems to go well with my closet.
I asked about it. It hasn't hit the stores yet. They will only be available at certain stores but once they're in the stores then you can order them from any boutique. The SA said they may show up online first. I'll let you know when I get a call from my SA upon its arrival. I have a few more pictures if you're interested.
