you are probably right. I love coach 1941 and have been waiting for something less western, less embellishment bag. I love this bag shape and the shoulder strap, but wish it's plainer on the body.
Maybe it's time to move to another brand.

In plain leather, it would be a lot like a vintage convertible clutch or pocket purse. Have you considered looking at vintage?

No, i haven't really looked into any vintage bag yet. I even never bought any preloved bag before.
I posted a picture which shoots this bag from the side. This is not a clutch, it seems to have 2 compartment, and seems very roomy compare to a cluch. which is exactly shape I am looking for.

I was just teasing. I look at bags and do the same thing. There's a good chance this bag will come in leather, so please don't stop shopping Coach. Stuart is getting on a good roll, it won't all be so "western."

It is similar to the convertible clutch in that the strap can be removed so it could be carried as a clutch. This is what a convertible clutch looks like. If you added a fancy strap, it would look very similar. However, it doesn't have two compartments.9635 convertible clutch.JPG

thank you! this look like a vintage version of the Dinky, but maybe a little wider i guess? I have a tea rose dinky already and find out it's not very practical since it's very narrow.
