Thank you for all the refers for me! I just looked through them. the reason why I inquired some nice silver bags here in the forum is because I trust you guys' tastes and knowledge so that you guys can recommend one for a girl in 20's ;) happy to get a good way to find a suitable bag. Thanks to you, Whateve.

I just discovered this beauty. My size is sold out which is a good thing. We are moving to Austin and I don't think I'll need it there but I'm sure I would buy it if it was available in my size

Have you tried calling customer service? They can check in store inventory for you.

Ive posted about it before and I've never carried it again. View attachment 3626653

I just NOW saw this ... I definitely remember seeing your original post and, at the time, thinking that a whole bag shouldn't be wasted due to a missing rivet or two.

My 2 cents -- as others have suggested -- I'd remove the remaining eye so that it would not be obvious that there ever were any eyes. If you still prefer it has eyes, find two rivets (or other small decorative items found in Arts/Crafts stores like Michaels) and glue them on.

Did you see how much gluework I did on my "revised" Teddy Rogue? (I'll repost that pic). I actually REMOVED my Teddy patch because I never liked it in the first place -- just wanted a Runway Rogue (it was Rogue's Debut), and I LOVE the unique neon orange handles.

Honestly, to never wear such a cool bag that looks like it's NWT, other than that one missing part, would be a real shame. It reminds me of that expression: "don't throw out the baby with the bath water", lol.

That bag is sooooo amazing!! Sorry for all the drama....but seriously, that bag is so busy I don't think any self alterations would even stand out -- they'd blend right in.

EDIT: if you have no interest in repairing it yourself, have you considered selling it on Ebay as NWT but disclosing the tiny defect? Getting several hundred bucks for your bag seems more productive than having it just sitting around. Not judging -- just giving some heartfelt suggestions.

For those who've seen or own the Dakotah Satchel, would it fit a laptop comfortably? I need a new work bag and am obsessing over the black/pink combo.

Probably not. My laptop is approximately 13"x10"x1.5" and I don't see how it could fit comfortably or with the entire thing concealed inside. Dakotah is about 10" wide at the bottom of the taper, so a laptop would have to be pretty small to fit.

I still think they would fix it. It is a current bag. One of a kind. I think they would like it seen. I think they tend to do the no fixing thing for older styles. Wasn't this one assembled in the Soho Store? Maybe they still have another patch they could put on.

Sorry! I just read these posts. I think coach can repair. I called the soho store sometime ago and they were happy to take it back but I didn't want a credit I wanted a patch repair and they don't do that. I may bring it in one of these days and see if they can do anything with it. I really like it and it concerns me if condition will worsen if I carry it.

Purchased today...didn't even fully unpack the duffle....
Duffle in burnished beechwood (burgundy interior) & tea rose clutch in beechwood.
Love!

How do you like the beechwood clutch? I'm thinking of picking this one up sometime this month. I cant wait to get my first Coach 1941 bag, and I loved the clutch shape since it came out. This color looks like it would be perfect for spring and summer.

I returned it, actually. I had hoped to use it as a wallet but it would not accommodate everything I wanted. I'm not a clutch girl so I actually ended up returning both the clutch (which is, to be clear, exquisite) & the duffle for what I should have gotten the first time...rogue in beechwood (not tearose but colorblock). I'm a Rogue girl through & through...except for some rare occasions when a tote is required, I'll be carrying a Rogue!
