Uh oh! Mine came last night along with the petal one. I couldn't even try it because I took my watch in for repair on Monday.
Try to put a q-tip inside of the holes and see if it's going to have any black stuff on it. The colors are so light and you don't want them to look dirty as soon as you start using them.
Both gorgeous bags! Wish I could live with the size. I can't. [emoji24]
I bought a coach purse at the boutique a few weeks ago , the sales people were extremely nice, nicer then any other design store I have ever been in. 
Yet when I got it home and really looked at it, the color was kind of off and the leather felt really cheap. I figured for $600 the color should be more consistent! I bought it at the boutique in Chicago and live in NH, so thanks to coach's liberal return policy, I was able to return it to the factory store near by. I felt bad a few days later cause I got a really nice hand written letter from the Chicago sales person thanking me 
But all my coach bags have been falling apart and not even after that much use. I had a white pvc and all the piping came off after a few weeks and all they did was offer to exchange it with a same priced purse (mine was sold out) , and another that I have the little loops inside broke after a month. Two others I have all have issues (stitching, hardware) I realize for the price I shouldn't expect Hermes quality, but it has really gone down hill.

I don't understand why you are having such bad luck. I did buy a few new bags that had issues that made me return them. However, I have over 50 Coach bags and most have held up wonderfully. I saw this bag IRL and it's really gorgeous. That said, I like the extra room that the regular size gives me so I can't justify the $$ for a bag that won't be a frequent "go to". I was really tempted though...love the look of this!
What extra room? At first I felt this bag is smaller than regular dinky, but after placing my items capacity is about the same. The bag has suede all over, so it is much softer and less structure, so that may give the idea of being smaller than regular dinky but it is the same dimension.

Really? Then maybe it's my area (weather etc?) no clue. The only bag I have that has held up is a beautiful leather lap top bag with a chain (wish I remembered the name) and I cloth one that I really dislike ( of course ) It's too bad , because I think out of all the bag makers coach really has the nicest looking bags. Literally, they will be in style for years.
