OK when did the new items hit? I'm so out the loop.. . I'm kind of liking this bucket bag in either pollen or light fern. Thing is I had planned to get these colors in cassie/cassie 19 but am not sure if I should try a new style?
Love the lining of the barrel, but if it's like the chalk one I returned that outside pocket is useless and will the snap closure drive me crazy? I don't want the similar wicker Willis 18 because I don't need more chalk or Willis 18's. Need to use this 25% coupon before it expires and I don't know what to buy lol.

You know I'm loving that Fern color but am heartbroken that the regular Cassie doesn't come in it. Considering the bucket or drawstring but waiting for a mother's day sale...

Is the Emery an “original”, or 1941, or both? I just received the pacific blue one and it has a 1941 hangtag and inside the slip pocket has the canvas-type material than 1941 bags have. But not sure about the leather. Inside is suede or suede-like material. What vintage style was it modeled after ? Thanks!

I believe it's an Originals and inspired by the Legacy 9966. I just got a vintage 9966 recently and it is pretty similar to the Emery, just not as stiff/structured. I have the Turnlock Curved Top Handle bag and it has the canvas material dust bag but a vintage style Hangtag.

i like the color, the shape, the two outside pockets, and the hardware. The zippers are like the 1941 zipper pulls. It is very stiff and structured and maybe that’s why I’m not sure about the leather. I can do a modeling shot in a little bit. I actually like the size.

Not WE but I do have 2 of the smaller Emery's. I decided to use the black one as my go to bag for now, so have been using her consistently for the past 4-5 weeks. The leather does soften up with use and the shape & crossbody function is so convenient.

I think the inside is microfiber, not suede. The leather is stiff. You can't compare it to vintage. I think for this style, at least in the small size, I like the stiffness because I don't have to worry about the bag looking lumpy if I don't arrange my stuff inside. With the bigger size, I might appreciate it being more slouchy.
