Strap is totally removable thank goodness. I'm 5'1" and I was laughing when the little bag was attached to the strap.
I ordered the yellow one! It’s such a cute little bag. Now I will be on the hunt for a strap. I really wish Coach would sell more straps.

are there only holes on one side of the strap? I think this strap will be too long on my petite frame. I'm only 4 feet 11. It looks really great on you though!

Just an FYI : if you have long hair and decide to carry your bag with your strap tied up like this, your hair can get caught and tangled on the knot. It scared me because I thought my hair was done for. Luckily, I was able to untie the knot and free my hair. So I would be careful if you ever decide to use the strap.
You're supposed to tie the strap onto a knot to shorten it. That is why Coach made it so crazy long. Here is a picture of what the bag looks like with the strap tied up.

Thank you! I’m personally not a fan of tying it in a knot, and I usually avoid buying bags that require it. But this one is so cute that I’ll probably buy a multicolor nylon strap off Etsy or something to go with it instead. I also might just cut the strap where it’s attached to the clip, shorten it, and hand sew it back around the clip. I figure I won’t use it anyway so no biggie if I end up ruining it.
Bah, I called my store and they said I'd have to come in and get the price adjustment done in person, and I was trying to avoid having to get out. It's almost $100 that it'd save me, though. >.<
